No, if they are bothering you ignore them. Problem solved. But I do not think jordandog means to "bother" you. Its an opinion forum. Every has one. So maybe you might just be taking what they say out of context.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Bullying is now an 'Epidemic'?..... Absurd!

"But yeah, have you ever been bullied into the point of thinking you are worthless piece of S***?" Markemp89
Yes read the paper, search online. Its a fact that most suicides are later found out over the fact that children, teens only accept what they are shown. Thus if someone bullies them over and over and over they think they are worthless. They believe that the world would be better without them.
Its not bullying in our time when we would just call someone a harsh name and go about our business. Kids today are so vengeful with hate that they deliberately attack and belittle someone until honestly there is nothing left in the other persons heart and mind to keep them going.

" In one case a video was leaked of a guy and one of his gay sexual encounters.  of course these kids should be expelled from college and prosecuted for showing and uploading the video."
sigmapi1501
Why? Did they force others to watch their video they made?
Bottom line if we teach or kids hatred for people in a group or general we will create the problem if we teach or children that there is more good in this world than bad and we show and help them along the way we are making an improvement. GET INVOLVED.

I feel that it is a problem that is wide spread but kids today have more hatered in their hearts due to the things that society is teaching them.  It used to be that the kids settled their issues with fists but in this day and age they are using machine guns.

We just have to trust that we are going to teach our kids a better way and hope for the best.

yep. parents also are to blame. many dont understand that parenting is a verb, requireing action on their part... not a passive process.

You are so right. My oldest daughter was bullied awhile back at her old church for believing in god,, YES you read that right. Two older boys approached her pushed her in a corner started kicking the crap out of her and calling her the worst names in the world.
My actions first was calling the church letting them know and after getting NO where with this particular church I called the police department. An investigation was opened, well from a visit to one of the boys house's the PD told me DHS was getting involved due to violence in the home.

My girls & I put ours up last weekend. My thoughts are if you have children its never too early. I love the look on their faces every time they see the tree, while decorating and just the moments in between. Something to cherish forever.

No, since we moved into this much bigger house this year, we have planned the dinner at our house. But we do not celebrate thanksgiving as with the rest of the world. So no family just my husband, I & our children. Last year my family & I went out to eat.
