What's really hard is if you've never had a job before. Everywhere only wants experienced workers, so how are the workers without experience supposed to get experience? It's just impossible. : My mom is starting to say that I should just put some lie down on my applications, but I'm not really comfortable with that. : I feel like I could get into a lot of trouble.

Off-Topic / Re: Looking for a niche on eBay or my own small store

Just always be on the lookout for something good to sell. My boyfriend decided he liked these tiny action figures, and when we bought him a rare one we noticed that on eBay the lowest price for one was $20 for a set of 12.. and the next price was $25 for one. So we bought two sets of 12, he kept 2, and we sold the other 22 for $6-20 each, depending on what other people had them listed for at the time. We made about $200 profit. It's not that much if you're trying to live on it, but just keep a look out. Sometimes you can find things that you can resell for a lot (video games and stuff) at thrift stores.

hmmm. humans and dolphins are the only mammals that have sex for pleasure. :)
Ooh, I'd heard that one.

Let me try to think of some..

If you feed a firefly to a pet lizard it's instant death. But I guess that's not useless if you have a pet lizard..

Hamsters are not herbivores, they are omnivorous and will eat meat.

You can always solve a maze by sticking to one wall of the maze. You will eventually find the exit this way no matter what.

You don't have to pay to get real jobs.

I have put in I'm pretty sure over 100 applications (NOT exaggerating) without finding a job. All I want is minimum wage and something to put on a resume in the future. Why is that so difficult?

I buy stuff online pretty often. I love buying clothes but I don't buy them near as often anymore.

It's Hugh Heffner is anyone really surprised?
Yeah. I'm surprised that he's engaged.
He's going from having three girlfriends all the time to sticking to one.
That's really the only part that surprises me, though.

I have trouble getting rid of anything that was a gift, even if I have no use for it whatsoever. I have a feeling it's going to become a problem as time goes on. xD;

:crybaby2: that is sooo sad, I only have one son and I wish I had a girl  :'( I love children and will do anything for them. I wish I knew where or how to adopt one. My husband doesn't really like the idea, he thinks its not the same as having our own. I wish God would give me a miracle baby, but I am already 46 years old  :dontknow:  :crybaby2:
My boyfriend didn't like the idea of adopting at first but now he does. Since you're that old I guess your husband is probably older and more set in his ways and whatever, but maybe you could still change his mind.

You can still have a baby at 46, it just raises the risk for some things like Downs.. But if you're a healthy person and your husband is too it's still very possible to have a healthy baby.

Off-Topic / Re: DO YOU BELIEVE IN "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT"?
« on: December 21, 2010, 08:07:47 am »Message ID: 288015
I don't believe in love at first sight period. I doubt that anyone even falls in love with their own baby at first sight, because they would start to love it while it was in the womb, and that love would grow.

I have a boyfriend who I spend every day with. We've been dating almost two years and we never fight and our family says we may as well be married. Did I fall in love with him at first sight? No. Did he fall in love with me at first sight? No. He had a crush on me for a few years, I kind of didn't notice he existed, then we became friends, then started dating, then a couple of months after that we decided we love each other. It doesn't just happen all at once.

We almost never have turkey or ham. Everyone in our family brings something and our options for meat will be more like ham on rolls or chicken salad on croissants.

I mostly wrap gifts but if there's a gift bag in my closet from someone giving me a present I might use it for a harder to wrap present.

It's the best money-making website I've tried by FAR. I've tried plenty and none of them were worth bothering with except for this one.
