In just about every community I have lived in including very small ones there is a food pantry or soup kitchen. If not then most churches have a way of assisting the poor and hungry. So there is no reason for someone to hang out in front of a restaurant. Also, most restaurants will share their left over food with someone that is that hungry.

I am in Fort Myers Florida. However, as of Sunday morning's advisory the storm is going to pass off the coast into the Gulf. It looks like it will intensify and hit Alabama or Mississippi. We will just get some rain and Gale force winds as it passes.

He has been fighting but there comes a time when the expense does not provide a return on your investment. To me his biggest win was overcoming cancer.

Hi. It sounds as if you would like to do something about your weight but as you say "sometimes I go crazy with food". The other part of the equation is exercise. If you are burning calories then what you eat is less important. It is important but less so. I was overweight and decided to run. At first it was a joke. I could not make it to the end of the driveway. Then I made it to the stop sign at the end of my street. Little by little I made it further and further. I lost the weight I wanted to lose. Now I swim and ride my bike and paddle my kayak. They are less stressful on my knees and hips. A side benefit to exercise is the endorphins that are released in my body which make me feel GREAT! Good luck

Christmas will always be Christmas because it is the celebration of God becoming incarnate in order to reconcile men to Himself. Unfortunately we humans have made the celebration for ourselves than to thank Him. Stick with the spiritual celebration and allow the "homemade" celebrations to be extra and maybe you will enjoy it more.
