Off-Topic / Just something to let know!!!
« on: July 29, 2011, 08:43:04 am »Message ID: 392782
First of all this has nothing to do with anything here on FC.  I wanted to let everyone know of another mail scam that is happening that I actually received yesterday.  I got home and checked it out on the internet by typing in its name and city and zipcode.  I figured it was to good to be true so I was skeptical seeing how I didn't enter into anything from them.  It doesn't state that I won but it implies it.  I susposely am to receive a camera with all its accessories only after I send them $13.78 + $3 S/H

Name says DMI (Central Clearing House in Texas)  Don't fall for it.  Ripoffreport from internet has all kind of info on this company and many more.

One other thing to let all girls, women, ladies, and possible even the guys know I got from a friend in email yesterday from a family that is a police officer sent to her.  Here's what it said:

Police Warning - Serious matter Things are getting out of hand!  People are getting desperate to do others harm!

If you are a female, take heed! If you are male and have a significant female in your life who you care about, whether it's your wife, your girlfriend, your daughter, your sister, your niece, your cousin, your next door neighbor; whomever..............pass this along! Always, "Better safe than sorry!"

A man came over and offered his services as a painter to a female putting gas in her car and left his card. She said no, but accepted his card out of  courtesy and got in her car. The man then got into a car driven by another gentleman. As the lady left the service station, she saw the men following her out of the station at the same time. Almost immediately, she started to feel dizzy and could not catch her breath.  She tried to open the window and realized that the odor was on her hand; the same hand which accepted the card from the gentleman at the gas station. She then noticed the men were immediately behind her and she felt she needed to do something at that moment. She drove into the first driveway and began to honk her horn repeatedly to ask for help. The men drove away but the lady still felt pretty bad for several minutes after she could finally catch her breath. Apparently, there was a substance on the card that could have seriously injured her.

This drug is called 'BURUNDANGA' and it is used by people who wish to incapacitate a victim in order to steal from or take advantage of them. This drug is four times more dangerous than the date rape drug and is transferable on simple cards. So take heed and make sure you don't accept cards at any given time you are alone or from someone on the streets. This applies to those making house calls and slipping you a card when they offer their services.

PLEASE SEND THIS E-MAIL ALERT TO EVERY FEMALE YOU KNOW!!!!

Off-Topic / Something Good to Know About.

My aunt sent this to me who works in the medical field.  I thought this would be good info to pass on for everyone.

Have great day!

BURNS

A young man sprinkling his lawn and bushes with pesticides wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see how much pesticide remained in it.  He raised the cover and lit his lighter; the vapors inflamed and engulfed him.  He jumped from his truck, screaming.  His neighbor came out of her house with a dozen eggs, yelling: "bring me some eggs!"  She broke them, separating the whites from the yolks.  The neighbor woman helped her to apply the whites on the young man's face.  When the ambulance arrived and when the EMTs saw the young man, they asked who had done this.  Everyone pointed to the lady in charge.  They congratulated her and said: "You have saved his face."  By the end of the summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses to thank her.  His face was like a baby's skin.

Healing Miracle for burns:

Keep in mind this treatment of burns which is included in teaching beginner fireman this method.  First aid consists to spraying cold water on the affected area until the heat is reduced and stops burning the layers of skin.  Then, spread egg whites on the affected are.

One woman burned a large part of her hand with boiling water.  In spite of the pain, she ran cold faucet water on her hand, separated 2 egg white from the yolks, beat them slightly and dipped her hand in the solution.  The whites then dried and formed a protective layer.

She later learned that the egg white is a natural collagen and continued during at least one hour to apply layer upon layer of beaten egg white.  By afternoon she no longer felt any pain and the next day there was hardly a trace of the burn.  10 days later, no trace was left at all and her skin had regained its normal color.  The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites, a placenta full of vitamins.

This information could be helpful to everyone: Please pass it on

Wanted to show you what was spotted in Louisiana at the Morganza spillway  in Louisiana and is one recently opened to ease flooding on the Mississippi.

This picture was taken by the dauhgter of a friend.  She was driving by the Morganza Spillway  and spotted this snake along the highway. She
yelled at her future father in law to stop the car so she could get a picture.

A friend sent this to me from the lady that sent it to her.

Have you ever thought about what you want when you die?  Do you want a burial or cremation?  Have you expressed this to anyone in your family that needs to know?  For myself a burial I don't like the idea of cremation.  I have told several people what I want when I'm gone.  It has been put in print so there is no fighting at all.  Most think that cremation is much cheaper way to go with but it isn't really just around 1500-2000 cheaper than a burial so if this info helps with your answer cool.

(SEE BELOW)

HOW MANY ?
WRONG, THERE ARE 6 -- no joke.
READ IT AGAIN !
Really, go Back and Try to find the 6 F's before you scroll down.

The reasoning behind is further down.
The brain cannot process 'OF'.

Incredible or what? Go back and look again!!
Anyone who counts all 6 'F's' on the first go is a genius.

Would you ever consider one of those big white rats as a pet?  I don't think I could I had a friend that had one and it seemed to be very nice and friendly but I don't think I could own one. The reason I m asking is I saw a picture of someone with one kiss it.  :-X   What do you think?   :cat:
