I stepped outside the other night to see what was happening down the street. As I was watching that unfold I noticed my neighbor spraying his yard. Killing what people think are weeds. Well I said something to him about it. I was nice. I think. I did get my point across. Told him what it was he was killing and why he probably shouldn't. One of the claims I made to him is that he will probably need that food when the stores are empty. That brought up the price of meat and how little there is on the shelves and that you can only get a limited amount. He continued to kill the clover and dandelion and other things that are edible. I so much didn't mind him killing his food, but those chemicals blow to my yard. That is what my concern is. I don't use chemicals in my yard. I eat the lambs quarter, and clover. I like the look of dandelions.
My saying something, surprised me. I normally don't confront people. Even though it didn't change what he was doing, I felt better for talking to him about it.
