Off-Topic / Re: Gardening still anyone?

I didn't grow up with a garden.  I am very thankful for the internet for the access to the information.  Also my neighbor, who is probably my best source of weather and other information.  If you really want to know, just ask.  Someone knows something.  And are happy to share.

Off-Topic / Gardening still anyone?

Last week they called for frost and freeze.  So I drug all the potted plants inside.  It has been summer type temps since.  I can't win.  My tomatoes still are taking forever to turn red.  With this nice heat I even have some new ones coming.  They won't make it before winter.  I have been needing rain for about a month now.  Does any one know when a watermelon is ripe.  I will try to give the a few more weeks.  At least one good week left that I know of.  Well how is you gardening coming?

yes,  I didn't qualify last month because I didn't make that many posts.  but 3 months prior.  I am still waiting.  I am worried.  I like this site and don't want to see it fade away.

Off-Topic / Re: Peeling eggs? Try this.

My favorite way of peeling eggs.   Get those plastic egg things I forget what they are called.  You put your raw egg in it with out the shell and boil the eggs in them then you have a hard (boiled)egg already to go.   It sometimes is hard to get the egg out and have it still look good.  But no peeling.

It is so sad how we have contaminated our home.  (the Planet)  I don't know what convivences I am willing to give up to save it.  I do get so aggravated with the amount of trash that leaves this house on a weekly basis.
I recycle or reuse most every thing but it has to go sometime.

Sometimes I just think wow.  If the Dem. are so devious why do we have a republican president, ever?  I will be voting some how.

It started out good.  Seems to have really slowed down for many of us.  I keep hearing them say this is the calm before the storm.  I think some are expecting more call volume as we get closer to the holidays.  I am not so sure.  I do enjoy talking with the people from the calls that I do get.  Most are very nice and just a joy to talk with.  So that's it on the job.

Depends on what you are doing that you are calling a job and calling working from home.  People who have real jobs and work from home it does not slow down. It is a real job. You have been very vague about what you are doing ever since you first mentioned it.  I assume it is something like this site where you can make a little money on the side. But it is not a real job.

I worked in the financial services industry and we are still working remotely from home. Most days it is fine, although collaboration with colleagues is harder without face to face interactions. Helping my son who is learning long distance from home has been much harder than I thought. He misses his friends from school a lot.

I have not received the last 4 months bonus but in all fairness I didn't qualify in sept for it.  How do I find out if I am going to be getting those payments?
