I've always been one to say that rules are there for a reason and these rules stand no differently than any other! FusionCash rules!

Off-Topic / Re: Who was your teen celeb crush?

I was 12 years old when I fell head over heels in love with John Travolta. I remember watching "Face/Off" with my sister, and that's when it happened. From "Saturday Night Fever" all the way til "Domestic Disturbance" I made it a point to own every film he ever appeared in. One time, they even had re-runs for a week on TV of "Welcome Back Kotter" and I was hell-bent on recording each night's episodes on to VHS. Although I grew up, got a boyfriend, dealt with high school drama, and got married, I have to say that 12 years later, there is a little part of me that still gets giggly inside when I see him!

Off-Topic / Re: Do you think the worlds going to end in 2012 ??
« on: August 08, 2010, 06:20:36 pm »Message ID: 217980
I don't believe that the END of the world is going to happen in 2012, however, I do believe that the beginning of the end will take place. I watched a show on the History channel not too long ago, and it was about Nostradamus' predictions regarding the end of the world. Many of the people who "interpretted" Nostradamus' predictions claim that he was trying to hint that changes will begin to take place in 2012. These changes will take place over many years, and unfortunately, these changes will impact humanity to the point where it will end. Weather patterns, wars, etc. will all take place and ultimately lead to our destruction. This is what I believe. As for the Mayans, who's calender just so happened to stop in the year 2012, well maybe they just didn't feel like writing anymore!!!  :dontknow:

Off-Topic / Re: What movies have you seen lately?
« on: July 15, 2010, 11:43:27 am »Message ID: 207132
About a week after it came out, I saw Iron Man 2, which I thought was really awesome, much better than the first. Then I saw Toy Story 3, which I think was amazing and very cute! Shrek Forever After was also good, but it wasn't as funny as the previous ones. On my T.V., I ordered 2012, which I thought was a really cool movie. Other than that, not much else. I'm waiting for some more movies to be released.

Off-Topic / Re: RELATIONSHIPS

I think that depending on personal choice, relationships can be either very fulfilling or very dissattisfying. If you are the type of person who can settle down, and commit, then relationships can be the best part of your life. If you are the oppossite, and are just looking for some action, then you need to find someone else who feels the same and then you can both be happy in knowing that a relationship doesn't really exist. I settled down at 23, and got married to my highschool sweetheart, and for me, it was the best decision of my life.

Off-Topic / Re: How do you feel about using the Public rest-rooms?
« on: July 15, 2010, 11:35:51 am »Message ID: 207129
Oh gosh! I only use them when I really need to! When I do, I make sure that I either use one of the seat-liners or I use toiletpaper and make my own liner. If the bathroom is in really clean condition, I don't worry much, but most public restrooms are not very clean. I don't even like to use the sink sometimes cause I find nasty, long hairs in them, and I don't want to even imagine what is on the sink faucet handles! NASTY!  :o

I'm a Jersey girl. New Jersey is ok, but it can sometimes be really annoying. The weather most of the time is pretty nice. The shore areas are beautiful, and my favorite hangout when I have the money is Atlantic City.

Off-Topic / Re: What kind of games do you play?

While I mostly play video games on the Wii or PS3, I do like to sit down every once in a while and play a nice board game. My favorite board games are Life, Operation, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, and other classics such as those.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you cook?
« on: July 15, 2010, 10:59:11 am »Message ID: 207115
I try to make food, good home cooked meals and all, but with my nighty work schedule, it's tough. I'm not the best chef either, so usually when I make something home-cooked, it doesn't come out as good as it looked in the cook-book. When I don't cook at home, I try to stick with "healthy" fast food, like Subway or something.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you like summer or winter
« on: July 15, 2010, 10:54:32 am »Message ID: 207113
I would have to say that I like them both equally. Summer is nice because, obviously, it's not freezing cold out, there's no snow to shovel, and the beach is open for business. However, I do enjoy winter when the summer heat becomes unbearable, I'm tired of the beach, using sunscreen gets annoying, and I would like a snow-day.

It's 84 here in New Jersey. I guess it's better than the sweltering 98 degrees it was last week!  :-

A nice big bowl of Rice Crispies cereal, with 2% reduced fat milk and a glass of Dr. Pepper soda! Breakfast doesn't get any better than that!
