Off-Topic / Re: Favorite color

My favorite color is RED. I'm not sure how it came to be. It used to be blue, but then one day it just changed to red. I think it might be due to the fact that I'm a Republican, and growing up, red was the color associated with the party. But I also think it goes with my personality too. I'm a bit of a romantic, very passionate, a little bit wild. My husband's favorite color is green. So it's like we are a Christmas couple, LOL!

Me and my husband just turned in our 2015 Chevy Cruze for a 2018 Chevy Equinox. We love the new car! It has many features which we like and we got a great deal on it. Would definitely recommend both the vehicle and the dealership!

Lol, I actually just saw one of the commercials right now! I do have a hard time looking at the Colonel knowing it's being played by a woman, but all in all, I think they are cute and original. I like KFC, I think it is tasty, but I also like Popeye's, so I can't really say which one I like best!

LOL! I think I may have gotten one of those like once in my whole life! If I did get one, I'd consider it a sign of luck, and go out and grab a lottery ticket!

We live in a terrible world. If you don't agree with someone, that's fine and dandy, but why do you have to try to hurt them or scare them? I hope they find whoever did this and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

I would hope not, I'm ready to leave this earth! But, if he does, I hope He sees all the good I've tried to do in my life, and all the faith I have in Him and my Lord Almighty. I have this really weird, crazy theory that there are millions of other habitable planets in our Universe, and that Jesus is planet-hopping to all of them, doing the same thing He did here on earth. And when He's done planet-hopping, that will be when the Second Coming happens. I might have had a bit to drink the night I came up with that theory, but hey, I liked it and it stuck with me!  ;)

I tried it like once, many many years ago. But, for some silly reason, I've always loved the name of the restaurant, so when I got my first kitten, I named him "Bojangles"! I call him Bojo for short. The funny thing is, I live up in the north, and we don't have any of those restaurants around here. But I came across them from years of driving up and down the east coast for family trips to Disney World. I wouldn't mind visiting one again and giving it another try!

Off-Topic / Re: Are you a saver or a spender?
« on: February 07, 2018, 10:09:00 am »Message ID: 1196354
I'm a spender, but I know the importance of saving. Me and my husband are trying to save for our daughter who is going to be born in 3 months, but it's hard. Between unexpected bills, this that and the other thing, our good intentions are often thwarted. I think it's important to save for certain things, but I don't think you need to hoard every penny of every paycheck. My parents always taught me and my sisters that memories matter more than material things, and I follow that philosophy as much as a I can. I would rather spend $100 for a day of fun with my husband (and soon-to-be daughter) than stay at home, sit on the couch, watch T.V., and put the $100 into a savings account for nothing in particular. I'm all for having an emergency fund, and saving for big things like college, a new car, a house, etc. But other than that, I live to make memories, because I know I will cherish them forever.

I like to play video games, read, ATV/Snowmobile (during the appropriate seasons), hiking, and basically anything that keeps me busy! I'm not the type of person who can just sit around and watch TV all day. I remember being a kid, and always telling my parents how bored I was. My dad would say "well do you need to constantly be doing something", and I would be like "well yeah". Now as an adult, my poor husband gets to deal with my constant desire to be doing something!

Off-Topic / Re: Suggestions on how to handle a bully

I went through something similar last year. I'm 31, and this lady was in her 50s. All she wanted to do was talk down to me, and make me feel inferior to her. We had many arguments, and many times I went to my manager about it. Even my other co-worker had occasional spats with her. All I heard was "Ok, it will be documented". Well one day, she got up in my face, said some threatening words, and I decided I had had enough. I called my manager again, had my co-worker back me up on what had happened, and told him I felt threatened and in a hostile work environment. I told him I wanted HR involved, and he immediately got them involved. She got suspended for week. When she came back, nothing really changed, but she wound up getting herself fired over a bunch of other stuff. When in doubt, contact HR.

Off-Topic / Where'd all the surveys go?
« on: February 05, 2018, 09:23:43 am »Message ID: 1195870
Anyone else mysteriously lose their surveys under "FC Surveys"? All it says are that none are available right now. But I used to have a bunch, not only from Fusion Cash, but from another company as well. I just find it strange. I'm also having a hard time qualifying into Live Sample and Tap Research surveys.

Off-Topic / Re: How did you meet your significant other!?
« on: February 04, 2018, 01:13:17 pm »Message ID: 1195704
I met him playing a video game online on PlayStation. I lived in New Jersey, he lived in Massachusetts. We talked for a few months, then in November 2014, we met in person. We then dated until 2016, when I decided the long-distance thing was too hard to continue. So I found a job in Massachusetts, moved up there, he proposed a few months later, and here we are today, 2 months happily married with a baby on the way!  :in-love:

Yes, it's been a while since I've been on as well. It gets hard with school, work, and the other million daily things that I attend to. But, I've made some more time for myself, and I plan to take advantage of it by spending some of it here on Fusion Cash!

Off-Topic / Re: Do you wash dishes?

Well, we have an automatic dishwasher in our apartment, so I try to avoid washing the dishes by hand at all costs! But if the dishwasher is full, I will give in and hand wash, because I can't stand leaving dishes in the sink where I can see them.

I think blue-jays are so beautiful! There is something about the way their blue is darker in certain spots and lighter in certain spots that make them so appealing to the eye. I will say though, cockatiels are pretty colorful too!
