Off-Topic / Re: Calling Numbers Back
« on: May 19, 2017, 05:21:15 pm »Message ID: 1143092
I have been getting so many random phone calls lately, it is so frustrating! I sometimes will Google them too to see where they are coming from, but I never answer them. Anyone who knows me knows that if it's important, they can leave a message and I will get back to them right away. Funny how all of these random numbers calling me lately do not leave a message. If that doesn't scream SPAM, I don't know what does!

Hey, some of the older toys are better than the crazy things they have out today! Personally, I always loved the old game systems. I grew up with Nintendo, and one of my bucket-list items is to have one of each of the old-school gaming systems starting with the original NES, which I actually do have, so I'm slowly making my way there! I think the toys nowadays are too technological and it's taking away the children's ability to think for themselves. But I know they have some benefits as well, so I guess they aren't all bad.

I don't think it's really considered a sports car, but I do love the Tesla brand. I find their sleek designs and futuristic features to be really intriguing, and it's my life-long dream to own one!

I don't have the spinner, but I have the cube. I bought it to help curb my anxiety attacks that I sometimes suffer from. Overall, I do feel like it distracts me enough to forget about the anxiety, thus preventing an attack from happening. I know a lot of people have kids who use these for either autism/ADD/ADHD/anxiety, and it bothers me that this has become a "fad" recently because I feel like these items should be reserved for those who need them. It's not "cool" to need a device to help you focus or calm yourself down. Trust me, I would rather NOT need the fidget cube and be anxiety-free than look "cool" by playing with one. And I'm sure plenty of autistic/ADD/ADHD/anxiety kids would rather not have their problems either. If my kid asked for this, and didn't have a real need for it, I would not buy it for them. I think it's a great thing for those who truly need it, but for those who don't, I find it offensive.

I am from New Jersey as well! However, since April of 2016, I have been living in Massachusetts with my fiance, and this is where we will settle down and raise our family. I do like this area better than New Jersey, but that's just my personal opinion.

I should be getting my cash-out of $27 tomorrow! I always try to make at least $25 a month, but of course, more is always better!

I think I fell into both categories. I was a tomboy during grades 5-7, and I was picked on a lot for that. It hurt, but my parents taught me to value myself, and not to listen to what others said. At the same time, if my friends were picking on other kids, I would join in just because I didn't want to be left out. And of course, if my parents found out I was picking on other kids, I would have probably got a lecture about that as well. But honestly, I am going to teach my children to respect others, and if they are ever picked on, to be strong about it and remember that they mean something to their family and friends, so those bullies' opinions mean nothing.

I agree 100%! God has blessed me in many ways over the past year, and while I have struggled at times, and even questioned my faith, I ultimately know He is watching over me and guiding me to where I am supposed to be.

It's a scorcher here in Massachusetts! It went up to a high of 92, which beat the record for this day. But it's a dry, comfortable heat. No humidity, so it's not like you walk out the door and are smacked in the face with that stickiness. I prefer hot over cold, so I'm not complaining!

Most of my family is located in New Jersey, where I was born and raised. Last year, I moved up to Massachusetts to be with my then-boyfriend, and we are now getting married in 6 months and thinking about beginning a family. So at some point, over a few generations, I'm sure there will be more of my family up in this neck of the woods!

I've never been scammed by this site, and have been using it since 2009. If you thought you were going to get rich from doing a survey here and there, you obviously don't know much about survey sites such as this. If you don't like this site, and think it's such a scam, then go stick to your Inbox Dollars and leave us faithful users alone!

We will be spending Mother's Day at our apartment with my in-laws. Then, in 2 weeks, we will be travelling to my home state to visit my mom and spend some time with my family for a couple of days.

Off-Topic / Re: Your Favorite Musical Decade?

I've always enjoyed music from the 1940s. There is just something about the Big Band / Swing era that makes me feel so relaxed. I used to have satellite radio and would listen to the 40s channel frequently. In addition to 40s music, I think the 80s had some rad music as well!

I finally feel like my life is going really good right now! For a while, it was sort of off track, but now I am back on track and ready to go. I thank God every day for what he has given me, and although I know tough times will come up every now and again, I trust that I will be able to overcome them.
