Off-Topic / Daddy's Poem
« on: August 25, 2010, 12:35:02 pm »Message ID: 226130
My husband is a U.S. Marine who deployed to Afghanistan for seven months. My dad sent me this poem in an email yesterday.

Daddy's Poem

Her hair was up in a pony tail,
her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone.

But she was not afraid;
she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
of why he wasn't there today.
But still her mother worried,
for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
she tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school
eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees a dad
 who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in
back, for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
anxious in their seats.

One by one the teacher called
a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
as seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
a man who wasn't there.

"Where's her daddy at?"
She heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one,"
another student dared to shout.
And from somewhere near the back,
she heard a daddy say,
"Looks like another deadbeat dad,
too busy to waste his day."

The words did not offend her,
as she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher, who
told her to go on.

And with hands behind her back,
slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
came words incredibly unique.

"My Daddy couldn't be here,
because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy,
and how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories
he taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,
and taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,
and ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him.
I'm not standing here alone.

"Cause my daddy's always with me,
even though we are apart
I know because he told me,
he'll forever be in my heart"

With that, her little hand reached up,
and lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere there in the crowd
of dads, her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love
of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
doing what was a right.

And when she dropped her hand back
down, staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
but its message clear and loud.

"I love my daddy very much,
he's my shining star.
And if he could, he'd be here,
but heaven's just too far.

You see he is an American Soldier
and died just this past year
When a roadside bomb hit his convoy
and taught Americans to fear.

But sometimes when I close my eyes,
it's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes,
and saw him there that day.

And to her mother's amazement,
she witnessed with surprise.
A room full of daddies and children,
all starting to close their eyes.

Who knows what they saw before them,
who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
they saw him at her side.

"I know you're with me Daddy,"
to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,
was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

And a child was blessed, if only for
a moment, by the love of her shining star.
And given the gift of believing,
that heaven is never too far.

P.S. I didn't quite make it through without crying!

Offers / All Cities Dating!

This offer approved for me right away. It's cool, because you can look for people who just want to be friends, also. Being that I'm married, but new to my city, I put an ad searching for female friends only! Another easy .50 that does me some good as well!

Support / Terms of Service Agreement & Forum Rules!!!
« on: August 24, 2010, 12:12:44 pm »Message ID: 225529
Please read them ENTIRELY if you haven't already done so. There are about 10 million posts on the forum asking if it's ok to log into your FC account at school, work, etc., and other things that are CLEARLY stated in the Terms of Service. If you read something in the TOS you don't understand, it's fine to post questions about it. Please just do everyone a favor and read the Agreement first! Also, if you don't know the answer to a question, find out. Don't just offer up your best guess. Newer people will get confused by the multiple answers they get.

Same thing goes for the Forum Rules. They DO get updated, so please keep a lookout! The Forum discussions need to be kept clean (ex. no sexual remarks), since FC allows members under the age of 18.

Thanks and happy clicking!

Here is a quote from the T.O.S. Agreement concerning logging into your FC account:
Users must log in and use FusionCash on their own personal computer and internet connection only. The use of a FusionCash account on a public or shared computer, or public internet connection is grounds for disqualification. You may not access your FusionCash account on the same computer or internet connection as your referrer, referral, or any other FusionCash user. Violation of this term may be considered grounds for disqualification of any and all users involved.

Support / For everyone who was referred to Fusion Cash...
« on: August 21, 2010, 05:46:57 pm »Message ID: 224217
enjoy! Make as much money as possible!

If you were referred to FC by someone else, please, please, please follow these steps to get the most out of your Fusion Cash experience:
--go to your Account page
--put a check in the box that says "share your email address with (your referrer's name)"

Why should you do this?
Well, if you have a good referrer (like I try to be), they will see that you shared your email address with them and will contact you by email. Your referrer obviously got you here, so they will most likely be willing to help you earn more money. (When you get paid, your referrer gets paid, too!) I send emails to my referrals with tips, motivational items, etc.. Let your referrer help you, and you'll both earn more!

Support / UPDATE 3! This is how to get referrals (once and for all)!
« on: August 21, 2010, 11:08:03 am »Message ID: 223989
Since I started (July 22, 2010), I've got 690 referrals. You get $1 for each person you refer, and $2 after they complete their first offer. You also get $5 each and every time your referrals cash out! As you can see by my banner, I make most of my FC earnings this way. I've found a ton of posts asking how to get a lot of referrals. Let's put our heads together and make ONE good post with all our tips about this topic! Thanks!

My Tips on How to Get Referrals

1.) Find your target audience. Don't just spam your link all over the place. Post your link where people will be interested in this site and the opportunity. Stay-at-home moms/wives, college students, and other people wanting to earn extra income make great prospects!
2.) Take the time to inform people about FC. If you post something like "Free money here!", people are going to think you're trying to scam them for sure! Tell them about how the site works, referral commissions, posting bonus, and $5 sign up bonus. Let them know that Fusion Cash has a Better Business Bureau rating of A+. *Also inform them of the guidelines: one account per IP address/household/person, legal U.S. residents age 13 and over!*
3.) Prove that it can be done! Post pictures of your cash outs and let people know that YOU, yourself, actually earned money from this site! Seeing is believing! Your custom FC banner displays your earnings and is updated every time you earn more cash. It makes a great email signature and forum signature!
4.) Educate the referrals you get. If your referrals share their email address with you, use it. Send them helpful tips and email messages to see how they're doing. Referrals who feel comfortable with the site will earn more, which means more cash outs!
5.) Do what works for you. Here are some options to try:
--Make a YouTube video about how to use Fusion Cash. Include your referral link in the video or in the comments section. MAKE SURE your video is worth watching and is easy to understand!
--Post a blog or two about why you use Fusion Cash. Make sure to include keyword tags such as: work from home, Fusion Cash, easy money, etc..
--Tell your friends and family. If you know people looking for extra income, spread the word! Classmates and co-workers are also great sources! Also, try your online gaming friends!
6.) Post on GPT and work at home forums. Use your FC banner as a signature.
7.) Visit work at home chat rooms and tell people about FC.
8.) Place a classified ad.
9.) Have business cards printed for free and hand them out to people you think might like FC.
10.) If you sell on Ebay, send a flyer about FC with your shipments.
11.) Place flyers on bulletin boards at laundry mats, libraries, colleges, etc..

What I do, personally...
1.) I have blogs about how to work at home successfully. I write out the blogs, and then incorporate my referral link into them. If you keep them updated daily, Google will pick them up, and rank them higher. Make sure you use a GOOD blogging source like Blogger. You can update them less often, but you'll earn less.
2.) I'm a member of GPT and work at home forums. With everyone on there trying to find legit work-at-home sites, it's easy to bring up Fusion Cash! Since I have made so much, it's easy to convince them to join!
3.) Vista Print is my friend, and I don't care who knows it! I've got a ton of freebies from them! You can get 250 business cards with your link and info on them for free (just pay postage). They're great to have around if you're comfortable with talking to people. Guess what? The lady making $7.50/hr at the grocery store isn't happy with her job. She NEEDS extra income! When you're checking out in the grocery line, (or anywhere else) start up a casual conversation with people. You'd be surprised where it can go! Other than business cards, Vista Print now does website hosting, too!
4.) I set up a free website. I made the website simple and added my blog to it. The landing (home) page is just about FC. It's easier sometimes to refer people to your personal site than it is to get them to visit an FC link.

That's all I can think of for now. Please feel free to ask questions!

Off-Topic / If you REALLY knew me...
« on: August 12, 2010, 11:52:25 am »Message ID: 219565
Post three things about yourself that many people don't know. Make them things that you wish you could discuss more openly with people. You can elaborate on them if you wish. Please ONLY say true things about yourself, and please DON'T judge other people by what they've posted here.

If you really knew me...
--you'd know that I love learning.
--you'd know that I'm truly unsure if I want to ever have children.
--you'd know that I have a mental illness that is in the top 10 leading causes of disability.

Suggestions / Lots of referrals should equal a cashout!
« on: August 03, 2010, 09:06:43 am »Message ID: 215949
I think the people who really put a lot of time and effort into getting referrals should be able to cash out before $15 worth of offers. I think FC should set up a certain number of referrals (ex. 100 per month). If you hit that number (ex. 100 or above) in a month, you should be able to cash out at the time the referral number is reached. More referrals = more people to do offers = more advertisers wanting to advertise on FC = more income for everyone!!!

FusionCash / Make a goal for yourself here!
« on: August 02, 2010, 07:08:44 am »Message ID: 215429
Setting a goal (or goals) is a good way to get started. Post your goal(s) here and how you plan to reach them. Tell us how you will reward yourself if you hit the goal. Then keep us updated as to how it's going!

My goals:
* get at least 15 new referrals a day (except for Sundays)
* be able to cash out once every month
* do the daily email and paid to click every day
* do the $3 worth of forum posting each month
How I'm going to reach my goals:
* set aside time at breakfast, lunch, and supper to do quick FC items and refer people
* do my offers to be able to reach the $15 minimum
* check my email for daily emails
If I reach these goals:
* I will get my hair and nails done.
* I will buy myself and my hubby new clothes and shoes.
* My hubby and I will take a vacation to Washington D.C.!

Here's the math:
15 referrals each day for a month = $15 x 30 = $450 per month
15 first offers completed each day for a month = 15 x $2 = $30 x 30 days = $900 per month
$450 in referrals + $900 in first offers = $1350 per month

This is looking good! I hope I can make it work!
