I don't think you're weird although, I don't share your need for noise.  My husband leans more toward your side.

Well. I was rooting for different teams to be playing but I guess I'll choose San Francisco.  No particular reason other than the rookie quarterback and the great Championship game he had.

I usually start out on my side and then switch to my stomach.  It takes me awhile to get to sleep :-[  When I switch to my stomach, I move my pillow out of my way.  I only use it when I'm on my side.

Off-Topic / Re: home made cold remedies what do you do
« on: February 01, 2013, 10:16:11 am »Message ID: 680963
when i have a stuffy nose or am coughing a lot i put vicks on the bottom of my feet then put on socks before i go to bed it seems to help a lot when i first heard of this i thought it was a bunch of hoeey but i was desparate on night and it worked really weel for me

When I'm down and out with a cold I bundle up, take a shot or two of Jack in some hot tea, get under the covers and sweat, sweat, sweat!!!  Then I get up change all wet clothes, linens and eat some chicken soup!!!!!  Beats the cold 9 out of 10 times!!!

I prefer to do my sweating in the bathtub and kill 2 birds with 1 stone :)  You do need to keep adding hot water because it cools off pretty fast.

Off-Topic / Re: Do You Enjoy The Library?

We used to go to the library all the time but I got a tablet with a Kindle app and my husband got a Kindle.  Now, we just go to the library site and browse the books.  When we decide on some, we borrow them through Amazon.  It's all very easy and very convenient.

Off-Topic / Re: how many emails do you get in a day
« on: February 01, 2013, 10:08:15 am »Message ID: 680959
I really don't know how many spam emails I get daily because gmail takes care of most of them.  I usually end up with 40-50 that I need to scan to see if I need to open them.  Then I click to check unread messages, do my scan, uncheck the ones I want to keep and click the delete button to get rid of the rest.  It doesn't take much effort on my part.

Offers / Re: ONGOING PROMOTION: Forum Participation Bonus - $3 per month!
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:40:57 am »Message ID: 677890
I tend to make my posts early in the month.  There seems to be a great deal that interests me during the first few days and then I mostly read what others have to say.  This is a fantastic bonus !!!!  I've been paid over and over and that $3 sure helps because I tend not to qualify for most surveys.  I'm doing better since they added the FC surveys :)  I'm usually cashing out every other month now where it used to be every 3 months.  Isn't it nice when a site gets better instead of all those that say one thing and then change the rules just when you're about to cash out :(   If I counted right, I've been paid the forum bonus 25 times and have 2 that are pending.  That's $81 just for carrying on a conversation with other like-minded people.  How does it get any better
Month Requested   Status   Est. time to credit

Off-Topic / Re: Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!

I picked Denver but that was one of the best games I've ever seen so I wasn't too upset the Ravens won.  They should all be proud!  San Fancisco played a good game too.  When a running back has a 200 yard game, it's special but a quarterback pushing 200 rushing yards - WOW!

You can use a Google number for any phone you have.  I have one that rings my home phone & my cell phone both and I can answer either.  I have to have a landline for my husband's medical needs so my cell is a Tracfone used only when I'm really mobile :)  You can also call anywhere in the US toll-free with a Google number.

I don't know exactly what I'd do but I would really, really like to find out  ::)  Of course, I'd take care of my family and be very relieved to not need to worry about money again but I suspect the things I think are important now would be less so with lots of money.

Sometimes there will be a small link in the lower left corner that says 'Skip Step' but not always.  It's really up to the advertiser.

I like Big Bang Theory but I think I'd have to go with Hot in Cleveland when picking current shows.  I think Frazier was the all-time best.
