Support / Re: question about moving
« on: April 16, 2012, 08:08:44 am »Message ID: 521714
Suggest you send your question directly to support with both your user name and your mother-in-law's user name.

If you are using the ISP that was in your mother-in-law's home (as opposed to the one you are currently using), there will likely be a problem since your m-i-l's account will be associated with that ISP and if you access FC with your account with THAT ISP, there will be 2 accounts on one ISP.  Big no-no -- could result in both accounts being deleted.  You should ask support to cancel your M-i-L's account before you use her ISP to access FC for your account and get their confirmation that using her ISP for your account will not put your account in jeopardy.

If you are bringing in your own ISP (intenet connection), which would NOT have your M-i-L account on it, just yours, you should not have a problem.

How do I send my question directly to support ... do I open a ticket for this?  I thought I WAS sending my question directly to support by posting in the "Support' forum !

Support / question about moving
« on: April 14, 2012, 09:58:06 am »Message ID: 520577
My mother-in-law passed away last month. My wife and I will be moving into her house at the end of this month.
 :(

My mother-in-law had signed up under me last year as a referral. However, to the best of my knowledge she never completed any offers or cashed out; I assume that her account just went dormant.

I don't want there to be 2 different FC accounts linked to the same IP address, since this may violate the FC Terms Of Service. My question: After I move in, do I need to cancel her account before I begin working on FC from that IP address ???

I would assume not. Since she is deceased, I will be the only person logging into FC from that IP address.  But, I don't want to assume anything here.

So, to make a long question short: Is there anything special I need to do in order to continue working on FC after I move into my mother-in-law's house ?  :dontknow:

Support / support ticket wait time
« on: March 24, 2012, 04:50:34 am »Message ID: 509639

Is there an unwritten rule as to how long to wait before submitting a support ticket?

I completed a survey a couple of days ago and have not been credited yet.  I wanted to give it some time to credit, but I'm not sure how much time is enough.

I've never submitted a ticket before, so any guidance would be appreciated!

Is anyone else not being credited for myview surveys? Its highly frustrating to finally get qualified then no credit!!!!

Same problem here.  I took the Grocery Item Survey last night and still have not been credited for it.  I wonder how long is too long before it's time to submit a ticket.  Guess I'll give it a little more time (like I have a choice ?  LOL)

Suggestions / Re: Help Referrring!!!!
« on: March 09, 2012, 08:20:27 am »Message ID: 502644
I tried refering this site to my friends but they skimmed my email, thinking it was a joke or scam. I had to tell them about it in person that it was indeed for real, but they still don't care about.

the hardest thing, i think, is to get people believe that fusioncash is for real, and that it is worth it.

Out of 7 referrals I have, not one of them is active.  These aren't strangers; these are people that I personally know. Maybe they had unrealistic expectations going into it or maybe they got bored with it, or whatever; I don't know.  I haven't followed up with them because I don't want to seem too "pushy".

Maybe they see the $ 0.02 daily email click and the $ 0.15 daily offer and think to themselves "That's chump change; I can find more money that that under my couch cushions; why would I want to waste my time on that."

Well realistically, a lot of the offers here ARE "chump change". However, those little daily offers, along with all the other "chump change" can really add up over time.  Maybe some referrals are just looking for the quick money and they don't see the "big picture" over the long term.

Maybe I just didn't do a good enough job of explaining that to them.  Oh well; life goes on!

Support / problems getting credited for surveys ... anyone else?
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:46:30 am »Message ID: 494097

During the past 3 days, I've completed 2 surveys that I didn't get credit for.

Yesterday, it was the MYTHOUGHTCOUNTS and about 3 days ago it was a different one (can't remember exactly which one though, but it may have been a FC daily survey).

This is odd, since up until now I haven't had much of a problem getting surveys to credit (except for a couple of rare occasions when they didn't).  But now within a 3 day time span, 2 of them have not credited.  :crybaby2:

Hopefully this trend doesn't continue !!!

I'm not gonna bother submitting a ticket.  I just chalk it up as the cost of doing business and then move on.

Anybody else having problems with surveys crediting during the past few days ???   ???

Second payment ... Muchas gracias !!!

Support / Re: question about confirmation registration via email link
« on: January 14, 2012, 03:22:49 pm »Message ID: 475494
I believe you want them to confirm their email for their own interest as well. I think they wont get their $5 bonus if they do not confirm their email. I am pretty sure that was the case when I first joined this site. They probably will have to eventually if they want to cashout. So yeah, I would that a priority for them and their future of the site, plus yours of course ;D

Many thanks for the info.  I found a lot of good info by looking back through some old posts here; it just took a little while.

<< I suggest you look at the tutorial videos and read the rules and conditions of FusionCash >>

Before I posted my question, I read the terms of service and looked through the FAQ section, and could not find the answer to my question.  Maybe I could find the answer by spending a half hour watching tutorial videos on Youtube, but I was hoping to just get a quick answer here in the support forum.  After all, that's what the support forum is for.

It's not a big deal if I don't get credit for the referral bonus.  I was just wondering if it was mandatory or not for someone to confirm their email in order to participate on FC.

Thanks for the advice though!

Support / question about confirmation registration via email link
« on: January 14, 2012, 12:59:02 pm »Message ID: 475465

When someone signs up on FC, they are sent an email with a link to confirm their registration.

What happens if that person does not confirm their registration?  Would they still be able to compete offers and cashout, etc?

I'm asking because someone just signed up under me, but apparently hasn't confirmed their email ... and I have no way to contact them.

Will that person eventually have to confirm their registration, or am I just out luck ?   :dontknow:

Offers / Re: daily $ .02 email

Can you go into your deleted email file and open it again?  Unless you deleted your deleted messages and then you are out of luck entirely.

Yeah. That was the first thing I checked. But, lately I've gotten into the habit of routinely deleting the messages in my "deleted folder."  Maybe I should stop doing that until it gets really full !

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so. I think their computer just generates them daily and can you imagine what a nightmare if they had to do them all individually.
I just checked to see if you could cancel your email subscription and then re-sign up, but I didn't see the option, You probably have to cancel it from a link in the email.
You could send a support ticket, but it's kind of late in the day already, it's only $.02 that you'd be bothering them for, and you probably wouldn't hear back on the ticket within one day anyway.

HTH!

Make sure you don't do that again!

Yeah, definitely not worth the trouble for $ .02    I was just trying to see if there was an easy fix.  Oh well.

*** Note to self -  DON'T DELETE THAT EMAIL !!! ***   :P

I accidentally deleted my daily $ .02 email.  Is there any way to get it resent to my email ?

Offers / Crowdflower
« on: January 08, 2012, 05:00:43 am »Message ID: 472260
Has anyone ever actually had their completion percentage adjusted upwards after contesting a "wrong" answer ?

This seems to happen to me time after time.  I submit a task and am told that one of my answers was incorrect (when I KNOW it was correct). Then I click on the box for "that's unfair", and submit my proof in the box.  After that, nothing happens.  I never hear back from them; my completion percentage is never adjusted upwards as it should be.

Eventually, my completion percentage falls below the level that they consider to be acceptable, and I get banned from doing that particular task ... all because they incorrectly graded one or more of my answers.

I'm just wondering if it's even worth the time to contest a wrong answer.  It seems like a waste of time, since whatever you say to them or do, it's not going to change anything.  It's like nobody is listening on the other end.

I'm not slamming Crowdflower.  I really enjoy their tasks.  This just seems to be an unresolved issue that has been occurring for a long time and it can be really frustrating at times.   :BangHead:
