Off-Topic / Trouble Cashing Out
« on: June 06, 2013, 11:41:58 am »Message ID: 748307
Is anybody else having issues cashing out? I keep getting a page that says: "The website is temporarily unavailable. Please check back in a few minutes. We apologize for the delay". I have tried for almost two hours now. I suppose I will just check back later.

Debate & Discuss / X-Men vs. Avengers
« on: May 19, 2012, 09:24:04 pm »Message ID: 540246
Who would win in an X-men versus Avengers battle?
From the year 2000 movie, X-men members: Professor X, Storm, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops
From the year 2012 movie, Avengers members: Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye

I would say X-men would win simply because the Professor could control the minds of anyone he pleases.

I know the members of these groups are ever changing in the comics, so I went with the movies. Feel free to analyze any group you please. Have fun. Ready, GO!

Off-Topic / Grey's Anatomy

I just caught up on Grey's Anatomy, and am not much looking forward to the season finale. Any fans out there have a prediction as to who is going to die? I really hope this isn't the end of the show, but I have heard rumors that this is Patrick Dempsey's last season. If so, I am not sure how well the show will do without him.

Off-Topic / Awake - TV Show
« on: March 19, 2012, 11:31:14 am »Message ID: 507361
The new television show "Awake" has a very interesting storyline. A detective has a wreck and in one life loses his wife, but once he goes to sleep and wakes back up, he has lost his son. His two worlds help him deal with his family's absence and solve crimes in the other, but he doesn't know which life is real. He cannot determine which one is the dream and in which one he is awake, when both seem so real. I recorded the first few episodes and just watched them today. I have to say I really love it and it is a great twist to all the other crime shows out there. Has anyone else gotten into the show? Like the idea or do you think the show will run its course quickly?

How are you spending this leap day?

I have been getting the housework and some class work done, and will be joining my husband and his dad for dinner tonight. Haven't seen him since Christmas, so it will be a good time. I hope everyone is enjoying this extra day of the year!

Twenty-one cents off of videos today. Thanks so much Fusion Cash! You make it so easy to gain money while I'm doing homework on the computer or housework. I like having videos to watch while being productive. What does everyone else do while they play the videos?

Off-Topic / Ear Aches
« on: December 14, 2011, 09:04:00 am »Message ID: 460982
Does anyone know any good remedies or treatments for ear aches? I have had one for about 2 weeks along with a sore throat on that side. The ear ache is always the worst in the morning when I first wake up, kind of fades throughout the day, but will randomly have surges of pain. My throat was only sore for about 3 days and hasn't acted back up yet (knock on wood). Any ideas what will help the ear?

Off-Topic / Once Upon a Time

I started watching the new show Once Upon a Time. I think it is a really clever idea to turn all of the stories we grew up with into a modern-themed show. Plus, it makes me go back and read about some of the characters I had forgotten about. I really enjoy the mystery behind it all right now. Has anyone else gotten into it?

Off-Topic / Is it wrong?
« on: October 16, 2011, 07:02:37 pm »Message ID: 433257
Is it wrong of me to expect to be paid for things in a timely manner? I helped a friend out back in April with the understanding that she would pay me $50 upon completion. Now every couple of weeks when I ask her about it, I get a  :bs: excuse about why she doesn't have the money. Yet, we have mutual friends and I see on facebook where she's going out on weekends and shopping and things like that, so obviously there's some extra money. Is it wrong of me to expect to be paid before blowing money on things like that? Plus, our families have known each other before we were even born and still are on good terms. Her dad even does some work with my grandparents. I would think most people would not want to make things awkward for everyone, right?. Maybe I am naive in thinking people's words actually mean something these days.

Off-Topic / Job Interview
« on: September 19, 2011, 09:06:55 am »Message ID: 419319
I had a job interview about 3 weeks ago and I was supposed to have received a call from them the week of Labor Day. I still have not heard anything (which I am assuming means no job). She said they probably could not afford me, but would crunch some numbers and let me know. I was wondering what you all thought was the proper time frame of professional courtesy before I should call them back and ask what is going on?

Off-Topic / Are You Ready For Some Football?

I am so pumped for the start of the NFL season tonight! Who is everyone for and what are your predictions for the outcome of the game? I'll be rooting hard for the Saints, but I need Jennings for the Packers to do good for my fantasy team. My prediction is the Saints winning by 1TD.  ;D

Off-Topic / Little League World Series

Is anyone else watching the Little League World Series on ESPN? I look forward to it every summer. I have missed a few, but I am going back through my recordings and catching up. I love watching sports when it is still all about the fun of the game and not the politics and pay! Plus, some of these kids are amazingly talented.

Does anyone on here watch Big Brother? Who do you want to win? Who do want out?

This season has been different, but I am still enjoying it. Originally I was for Cassie, but her partner hurt her. Now that she is out, I am all for Dani! She is the only one willing to actually rock the boat and play the game. If she can survive the mayhem of this last week, I think she has a really good chance to go the distance. Hopefully she will keep winning the challenges like on her original season. She is such a strong player. The person I want out the most is Rachel. She is such a baby and needs constant affirmation about everything. I despise her crying and whining all of the time. She just drives me nuts!
