someone explain what "reverse racism" is.
Reverse racism occurs when laws that are supposed to help minorities, actually discriminate against the majority, in essence becoming racism in its own right. It really shouldn't be a term because racism is racism, regardless of who it is against. One example is when businesses have set quotas on how many people of any given race have to be employed. If they have to have a set percentage of let's say Hispanics, then all Caucasians, African Americans, Asians, etc. have no chance at the job. That is discrimination. Another example is when colleges and universities feel they have to admit a certain percentage of minorities, so they do not even give the majority a chance. The list goes on, but that is reverse racism in a nutshell. As I said, it really should be included under all racism and discrimination, instead of being defined as "reverse".
