How did everyone make out from Hurricane Irene?  I am in Ct and we did loose power for 12hrs on Sunday.  We did ok though no damage, and other areas got hit worse, some still out of power not good.

I am in Ct and I felt it. Very weird I was on line just getting ready to log off and go back to work and my computer table started wobbling.  My dog was behind me so thought he was moving the leg... then I see on facebook there was  earthquake!!It wasn't bad here.

I have lived alone before, right now I live in house however, my parents are in an in-law apartment here, so technically not alone. Having pets are the way to go, I have two dogs and would  never want to live without them.  Its been a year since my x-husband left so I am "alone".
