There are many things you can do to brighten up your life. I think a good DIY hobby is a really good way. My favorite is gardening. I find having an environment filled with flowers and plants make a person very cheerful and it contributes to a beautiful home. I also like decorating. It too is a lot of fun. What's your favorite?

Off-Topic / What do you do when you sneak off by yourself for some quiet time.

When I want to sneak off by myself I go off to cafe's and libraries. I go to little out of the way places and eat scones and apple fritters so none of my dieting friends see me. I go to antique stores and thrift stores and buy cheap but fabulous items to keep in my little cubby hole.

If I had fifteen thousand dollars to spare that I didn't have to save or pay bills with; I would buy some new clothes and buy some coach plane tickets and travel. London, Paris and Milan would be my first three places I would visit right away. I would live in cheap clean hotels and go as many places as I could. I would also buy a new couch.

My heart's desire changes all the time. What I want most of all right now is a new house. I dream everyday about all the things I want to do with it and to it. I imagine what draperies I want and what kind of carpet and a million other things. I can practically see it with my mind.

I'm tired of people who talk so nasty to others for no reason. I recently had a experience where all I did was ask a question and I was met with a nasty response. I feel that people who behave this way are rude and ignorant. What do you think?

My favorite movie is Spellbound with Gregory Peck and Ingrid Bergman. I found it a few years ago when I was digging around in a used video store. It's a thriller, I was on the edge of my seat feeling tingles up my spine the first time I saw it. I don't want to ruin it for you but, watch it if you get the chance it's totally awesome. I'm sure it's on DVD now. An oldie but a goodie.

My favorite sandwich is turkey and swiss cheese with romaine lettuce, tomato, spanish onion (sliced very thin) and kosher pickle on toasted rye bread with miracle whip dressing. There is no sense in having it without some fritos on the side. This is also my favorite Saturday lunch. I like to eat this and watch sappy romantic movies like "Bridget Jones Diary" or "Pride and Prejudice"

My favorite flower is the sterling rose. This flower to me is the most beautiful. I love the purple petals and to me it stands out as among the most beautiful of flowers and the most exotic of the rose family. I think it's a classy flower. I like it a lot. I give it five stars for excellence.

My favorite clothing designer is Ralph Lauren. I like the classics, I think that those are clothes you can always wear. They never go out of style and are always welcome in their appropriate forum. to me no one does it better.
