Off-Topic / Re: Pepsi or Coke?
« on: May 19, 2013, 04:52:14 am »Message ID: 738748
Coke without a doubt. I believe that Coke is a far superior drink than that wussy Pepsi.  It's embarrassing.  Pepsi is too sweet and yucky, it needs a face lift and a tummy tuck and some strength training. I don't like it.  >:(

I don't get it beware of the effects of ice cream? Except making a person fat I don't know what the effects could be. You scare people saying something like that without explanation. What are the effects of ice cream? :angry7:

I hope some of his awesome luck rubs off on you because your attitude towards his win is beautiful. So many people would be jealous if someone they knew won and they didn't win. It is really good to hear that you feel that way. I hope you win next. :)

I remember sock puppets and paper bags with faces drawn on them. I remember chains made out of colored construction paper and ash trays made from paper mache' and clay. It was so much fun making those things and being together. :)

Off-Topic / Re: Favorite places to travel
« on: May 10, 2013, 03:12:35 am »Message ID: 734830
I haven't traveled at all this year but when the funds are right I would like to travel to California. I have always dreamed of it. I want to see Beverly Hills and the Walk of Fame and the shopping and go to the Beach and eat avocados and drink wine. I think my favorite place to travel changes every time I want to go some where new.  :)

I say let's get that guy a blue jumpsuit and pin an "S" on his chest. He is amazing! As for those poor women I can't even say how sorry I feel for them and what they must have had to endure to survive. One of them has a child by that monster, a poor child who will live out their lives knowing their birth was the result of kidnapping and rape. I am so happy for them that they got away from that beast. I also want to say that sometimes it's good not to give up even when things look hopeless. I can't even imagine how happy their families must be to have them back. :)

I don't like telling people what time I go to bed or when I get up. I will share that I usually get about 7 to nine hours sleep per day and I have been known to take an afternoon nap or two if I find myself sleepy. I generally get up early. i hope that somewhat helps your question. :)

Off-Topic / Re: HOrrible allergies!
« on: May 10, 2013, 02:47:54 am »Message ID: 734824
I have allergies to dust and pollen it is horrible! What I do is stay away from those items. When there is a lot pollen around in the spring and in the fall I wash my face and hands whenever I am exposed to it. If I  go outside for any reason when I come in I wash them immediately and if I am out I use the ladies room to do it. You sneeze a lot when it stays on your skin or when it is caught in your ears or nose hair. Pay special attention to those areas and gargle a lot with some type of antiseptic mouth wash. This is how I get some relief and I take allergy medication if it really gets awful. I hope you feel better soon.  :)

Off-Topic / Re: WHATS FOR DINNER???
« on: May 10, 2013, 02:38:59 am »Message ID: 734823
I had a turkey hoagie it is the most amazing delicious thing ever. I seriously can't get enough of them. You get this incredible Italian roll that is shaped like the long french bread only shorter, it is sliced open and you add whatever dressing you like but traditionally we use mayonnaise. If you want to do this right after you dress it you add paper thin cheese of your choice making sure you cover the entire roll. You follow that up with the meat of your desire, turkey is my personal favorite, after which you apply whatever green leafy vegetable you prefer my personal favorite is romaine lettuce then add your tomato slices, onions, pickles and Italian seasonings, salt and pepper to taste with a splash of oil and there you have it. It is a mouth watering feast. I had that and some chips and strawberry-watermelon flavored water for my dinner last night. I had a very happy tummy. :) :) :)

Off-Topic / Re: Should marriage be for better or for worse?
« on: May 06, 2013, 06:08:25 am »Message ID: 732866
It should be for real! Life is life and when you take vows of marriage you are saying to each other that you will walk though life together through all that it entails. Don't be a sissy, have some backbone. I think that marriage is falsely romanticized in movies and on tv where they show you this Lalala nonsense and people expect it to be that way. It is sometime but, not all the time. You have to know your role in marriage and perform it and you must do it everyday. To have a partner is a gift and a privilege. You must be unselfish and yielding. Nothing except your own survival should be more important than your union if you are to maintain your marriage. There will be good times and bad because life is full of experiences but it will be so worth it.  :angel11:

Off-Topic / Re: Suicide Thoughts and Opinions?
« on: May 06, 2013, 05:55:21 am »Message ID: 732856
I didn't want to deal with this question but I cannot walk away from it. If you are thinking of this please do not do it. I know you have probably heard this a thousand times but things will get better. Trust me. If you are thinking of hurting or killing yourself it doesn't get worse than that. I know sometimes people have issues with health that are horrible and they suffer so much from this, if you have an incurable illness or are in a lot of pain life is more precious than giving up. The thing about suicide is you'll never know how things would have turned out if you just were a  more patient, if you fought just one more time. I have had some horrible times in my life and when it got too hard I cried out to God to help me and things changed. Try it, it works!  :angel11:

I hope you guys are all safe and God bless you all. I live in Pennsylvania and we are not getting any news about this situation except that there are heavy rains. I worry about it when things happen to people in flooding and natural disasters and wonder what I can do to help. Please tell us what is going on because the news is only telling us there are heavy rains. :BangHead:

Off-Topic / Re: looking for a unique girls name
« on: May 06, 2013, 05:34:04 am »Message ID: 732844
I have a few ideas You can name the baby after your husband. My friend has a little girl and when she was pregnant she was looking for a name for her daughter. Her husband wanted her to name the baby after him and his name was Raymond so she took the name and made it feminine by adding La (female) to it so she named the baby Rayla her husband loved it. You can also make a name by putting his name and your name together. I personally like the name Frances it means the free.

It's an addiction for me I can't stop at least 6 hours a day I am online. When I wake up in the morning after a few necessities I go straight for the computer. I can't imagine a day without going online.  :)

Off-Topic / Re: tap vs bottled water
« on: May 05, 2013, 05:34:13 am »Message ID: 732331
I hate tap water if I could bathe in spring water believe me I would. It's strange when I was a child I never thought about it I just drank it. Ever since I discovered bottled water I just can't stand tap water. Some bottled water is salty I don't drink those. My favorite is Poland Spring. :)
