Off-Topic / Top 10 favorite video games.
« on: July 18, 2016, 03:33:27 pm »Message ID: 1080501
I'm 38 and still play video games on my Wii U and Playstation 4.  I've been playing video games since the early 80's on my Atari 2600.  What are your ten or less favorite games of all time.  You can go in order or in no particular order if ranking them is too hard.  Here is my list in no particular order:  Chrono Trigger, Uncharted 4, Zelda: Links Awakening, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4, Goldeneye, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, Star Fox, and Super Mario Kart.

Off-Topic / Any Atari fans here? 2600, 5200, 7800, or Jaguar?

My first game system was an Atari 2600 and I loved playing Star Wars Return of the Jedi, Pitfall, Frogger, Dig Dug, Adventure, Night Racing, et cetera.   Any other fans of the retro game systems?  They still produce games for older systems such as the Atari 2600 at a certain online forum/website with the initials AA.

Off-Topic / Re: do you go to flea markets

I love going to Flea Markets to find hidden treasure.  I am usually looking for older video games for my personal collection or to resell on Ebay or Craigslist.  I've made some great finds from time to time with my greatest find being an extremely rare game that I purchased for less than a dollar and sold online for around 250.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I would be approved for more surveys if I were Hispanic or Native American or practically anything other than Caucasian.  It seems most surveys ask this up front and they wouldn't do this if they weren't especially interested in certain clientele.  I haven't changed my race to suit their perceived needs, but I have few doubts that it would be more successful if I did.

I am not a fan of Summer for the most part.  Some of my favorite things during Summer are water parks, baseball, grilling burgers, and the beginning of college football.  I don't swim in the ocean as their have been several shark attacks close to my home in N.C. in the past few years.

I think I will go and try out the new birthday cake flavor slurpee.  Thanks for the reminder.

Off-Topic / Re: Amount of Caffeine and Anxiety

As with alcohol or other drugs it depends largely on whether you are a man or a woman and how much you weigh.  Men and larger people are less susceptible to the effects of caffeine or other mind altering agents.  I drink energy drinks daily that range from 160 to 320 mg of caffeine.

I'm looking for new car insurance right now.  I have 3 vehicles used by my wife, 17 year old daughter, and myself.  I couldn't afford the insurance with Esurance.  I was paying 500 and change a month!  My wife had one accident a few years ago and I have speeding tickets, but no accidents.

It happened on the Opinion Central survey site.  I was thinking it made sense for a while to shake off anybody randomly clicking and not paying attention.  Who knows, I've been doing fine there otherwise.

I watched the 9/11 Back to the Future video on the internet, but found it to be a bit of a stretch.  Our minds are always looking for connections where they shouldn't meaningfully exist.  Just chance.  However I will recant if the Cubs win the World Series.  That would be amazing.  :  )

Offers / Repeating questions survey, over and over and over

Just seeing if anyone else has ever had this happen.  I did a 40 cent survey at the top of the list and it was going well until it repeatedly asked the same questions in a loop for 10 plus minutes.  What do you think of Fargo on a 1-5 scale then what do you think about Placeholder(I think this is a fake show) on a 1-5 scale.  It was numbered and the first time it asked about Fargo was about 60 and I finally gave up on question 134 which was a repeat.

Christmas is just fine, but I am only looking forward to Thanksgiving at this current moment.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday by far for the following reasons: Turkey, time with family, football on tv, relaxing and no shopping worries(except food).

I use liquid for the same aforementioned reason that powder doesn't dissolve all that well unless you are using warm/hot water.  I've used cheap laundry detergent in the past and have found it's not a cost savings for me as I have to use more than the suggested amount to get my clothes clean.  I do a lot of off outside work and my clothes get plenty dirty.  Tide and Cheer are my go to laundry detergents.

The code appeared, but the submit button didn't work for me.  I sent a message to Radio Loyalty within the past hour.  I tried again and have listened for about 30 minutes without anything showing up this time around.  Not worth my time unless they iron out the wrinkles.
