Off-Topic / Marketing

Most marketing, and test groups seem to focus on the young crowds, like maybe the teens to the 30 or some up to the 40 year olds.  I wonder how many 60 to 70 or 80 year olds could be successfully marketed

Maybe technologly could help them into the iphone, ipads, smartphones, beam me up Scotty technology. As they like to send pictures, take pictures, and beam them to their kids, grandkids etc.  They are not stupid, just maybe arthritic, can't type as fast, and yes maybe a little slow. Whom ever catches this knitch in the market will make billions. And help them with their typing skills and spelling.

You would be surprised as to how many of us seniors are on the computer, etc............. just a thought

Maybe we should have a link for Newbies, but call it " New Members", instead of Newbies. And a brief explanation leading them to the Forum so they can see what other new member are learning about this site, along with what old experienced members are teaching etc, or something like that

Ok, I have an old computer, it does not do screen print and sometimes it won't copy on certain sites at all. So, I think I was able to get my last post copied so I can now post it. I don't know if it will be enough for FusionCash to consider for the xtra buck you get for posting your payments. Lets hope so. So here it goes:

Completed on: 03/20/2013
Description: ACH CREDIT FUSIONCASH/DISBU FusionCash 130320
Amount: $25.01
Transaction type: DEPOSIT

And I am on my way to cashing out again. Thank You FusionCash

Off-Topic / Survival Techniques
« on: March 18, 2013, 09:30:34 pm »Message ID: 706531
I don't know why, but got on Youtube, and found what is called a Swedish Torch how to video, which led me to a coke can and how to make a stove using coke cans, which led me to rocket stove etc etc.  I found the videos very educational, and started looking into other things you can do with normal household items etc, to make a fire and boil water to cook food, etc etc. Well anyway, I was just wondering if we have any survival specialists out there on FusionCash, that might give us some helpful tips in case of an emergency that could occur like another Katrina, or Sandy.  Just how to survive, have fire and water and cook even top romen (sp), when everything else is down, like electricity, water and power. How can you survive.  Shelter etc. warmth, is that possible with the rocket stove?   Well just a though

Off-Topic / Foreclosure
« on: March 12, 2013, 07:58:55 pm »Message ID: 703498
I am sure some of you have had the experience of going through a foreclosure. Be it you owned the property or you rented it. Job loss, medical, problems, or other situations. It is not fun, and seems unfair, as to what the banks can do, without giving you opportunities to lower the mortgage payment, or rent payment so you can stay in your home. Yet the banks don't care. They strive to make it difficult. Why, well, they can write it off as an expense, turn around and sell the property at a loss, and for some reason they still come out ahead. Sort of.  Something is wrong, the government bails them out, but not the average hardworking soul that is struggling.  Well just saying. My daughter and son in law have to move. Why, their landlord went into foreclosure. What a surprise for them. Well I will do what I can to find them another place and my grandson, hopefully in the same area.  But like many other Grandparents out there, we do not have a lot of resourses. Sad tonight.

How does a smart phone work?. Besides the cost of the phone, how expensive is it to use? I am so confused. What or who is the best carrier?, Do I need internet? Is it like using a computer to access like FusionCash? Can I Use it to call people on Skype?, I guess I am asking FusionCash members as to what they are using in this tech world and what there opinions are of their phone and service, and when they go home can it transfer to the computer?
