Off-Topic / Re: What language should you learn?
« on: July 14, 2011, 06:21:16 am »Message ID: 385115
I have taken Spanish in  school an I'm pretty fluent.  I would like to learn Chinese and German.  I think that learning a new language is interesting and challenging.  I'm afraid that I have a compulsion to learn new things.  I think that Spanish is important to learn because of our increasing Hispanic population, I find Chinese interesting because it is so different from English and I would like to learn German because I find that many of its words are similar to English and I believe that it could help with my vocabulary strength, in much the same way that Latin does.  The bottom line is that I have too much time on my hands, lol

I have a job, but it is as a substitute teacher, and right now I have no income because school is out.  I am also a student and it is hard to find a summer job, especially when they find out that I will quit in August, once school starts back.So , I rely on sites like Fusion Cash to help increase my income during these times

I have now logged on to Fusion Cash for 4 hours and 19 minutes and have make 24.32.  This comes to just a little over 6.00 per hour.  I have set a goal for myself to improve that hourly amount.  Thanks for calling  my attention to this feature.

Debate & Discuss / Re: why are the children in america so over weight
« on: July 14, 2011, 06:02:53 am »Message ID: 385108
I think that kids today are obese because they spend too much time playing vido games and watching television.  When i was grow2ing up, we stayed outdoors as much as we could, coming home only to eat or maybe use the restroom.

Off-Topic / Re: What soups do you like?

I love homemade soups and I enjoy making them.  My favorite recipe is for chicken bog with chicken, shrimp, corn on the cob, and other goodies, depending on my mood.  I also like to make a taco soup recipe that tastes like a liquid taco, that is my family's favorite.  57 bean soup and split pea are also good.  Gosh, now I'm hungry.

Off-Topic / Re: WHAT PART OF THE COUNTRY YOU AT??

I'm in South Carolina. This is the time of year, I always consider moving away!  It's muggy and hot right now with thunderstorms that are always cutting off our electricity so that we have to suffer even more in the heat. But, to be honest, this is the worst part of the year and I really wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I like chicken soup better than tomato soup.  The study also rings true for me, I am creative, I love to write and I am always reading a book.  I don't like math either.  I think that this is an interesting study, I wouldn't consider it scientific research, but it is interesting, lol.

Off-Topic / Re: Layered cakes or bunt cakes?

I love to bake, and to eat, too!  My favorite cake is a Cream Cheese Cake, it is an old family recipe that I got from my Grandmother. I also like pound cakes.  However, I do like layer cakes also.  A three day coconut cake is my favorite, although it is a challenge to not eat it before the 3 days are up.

I am 54 and I feel that I am in the prime of my life!  I went back to school and graduated with a bachelor's degree in May.  I'm looking forward to a new career and a new page in my life!  I raised a family, worked at a job that I grew tired of after 25 years, and then decided that It was time to do something that I wanted to do.  I had always felt bad about not going to college, so I decided to go back,.  It was hard, at times frightening, but always exhilarating.  Guess what???I just got accepted into a Master's Program at a major University!!!!  It's never too late and you're only as old as you allow yourself to feel.  Embrace your life, follow your dreams and just be yourself!!!!

Off-Topic / Re: How do you get paid to click on fusion cash
« on: July 12, 2011, 03:38:29 pm »Message ID: 384113
When you go to the click for cash home, you will see several content pages, like celebrity, news, ect.  You have to click on at least four of these page, I think that the directions say that you have to spend at least 3 minutes doing this.  After that, click on  one of the sponsor's ads that are on the screen.  Redeem your 15 cent reward.  I've done it several times, at first I was a little confused, but its easy once you get the hang of it and its some extra money!

I think that a lot of young people drink because it is a novelty to them.  For many, once they realize that they are throwing their hard-earned money away, they don't do it as much.  When you
are young, lots of times you want to experience everything, especially those things that you were forbidden from doing when you were a child.  Wisdom and temperance comes with age and experience (USUALLY).

I am new to Fusion but so far it seems to be a reliable way to make some extra cash, I am a substitute teacher and a college student, it's hard to find a job for just the summer months.  I will return to teaching and school in August, it seems that people are reluctant to put the time and energy into a new hire who is planning to leave after just one month.  I understand their reasoning and that is why I Like sites like Fusion.

Suggestions / Re: you are responsible for your own life

I agree that we have to help each other at times and I also think that when you help others you reap unexpected benefits.  Over the years, my husband and I have been foster parents to several children, we opened our doors and our hearts to those less fortunate.  We also helped many of our family members when they needed it, giving them a place to live or money when they were a little short.  In the past two years, circumstances have changed and it is my husband and I who need help now.   We have found that many of the same people who we helped years ago are now helping us out.  When we helped them ,we had no idea that one day we would be the ones who would need help, but we have found them to be generous and helpful.  You never know what life is going to "dish" out and sometimes we all need a little help.
