Offers / $.20 task on personality
« on: December 03, 2013, 10:19:46 am »Message ID: 825153
I just completed a $.20 task that asked questions about your personality traits.  On the task page, the compensation was listed as $.20, but when you got into the survey, itself, it said the pay would be $.40.  I had a little tug of excitement when I read that new amount, hoping it would be true, but on completing the task, I did, indeed, get paid $.20.  It was credited immediately and I enjoyed the task!  It wasn't long and drawn out, either!

Offers / Fifty cent task
« on: November 23, 2013, 01:41:48 pm »Message ID: 821026
I just completed a fifty cent task that was really fun, and I was credited with fifty cents right away.  Yes, fifty whole cents, not one-half cent.  The task showed you pictures and you had to pick an emotion that the picture portrayed.  The emotions were all listed on a wheel.  Then you dragged and dropped the image into the emotion that you chose.  This was one of the more interesting tasks that I have undertaken.  It was quick, easy, and fun!  Yay!

Support / Do we have new tutorials for the new website design?
« on: October 30, 2013, 10:24:48 am »Message ID: 811315
When I joined FusionCash, I learned everything I needed to know from the oldbuddy tutorials.  I have just gotten a new referral and I cannot find any new tutorials customized for the new website design.  I can direct her to the old tutorials, but I feel like that would be confusing since the website doesn't look the same.  Does anyone here know if we have any new tutorials?  I have searched the site and forum and could not find an answer to my question.

FusionCash / New Referral!
« on: May 04, 2013, 03:57:09 pm »Message ID: 732042
I'm always interested to see how others get referrals.  I am not actively shaking the bushes for new referrals, but I do send out an ad or two to safe lists from time to time.  Yesterday, I sent out one such ad and today I woke up to a new referral listed in my account!  What a great feeling!  It's very exciting for me.  It just proves that if you send out enough ads, you will find some people who are interested.  That is my second referral from the particular ad I sent out. The first person confirmed his email address and I received a $1 bonus, but the newbie never did anything else.  My newest referral has not yet confirmed his/her address.  If he only knew what a great site this is, he wouldn't hesitate for a minute!  Keeping my fingers crossed, but it's still exciting.

FusionCash / Cracking the Captcha Code!
« on: April 29, 2013, 12:42:01 pm »Message ID: 728189
I am really enjoying the loyalty radio feature.  I listen to the "oldies" and am taking a pleasant trip down memory lane.  Some of those songs, I haven't heard in 30 - 40 years!  However, I'm still trying to figure out the captcha code.  Sometimes it takes me up to eight tries to type in what they are looking for.  For a while there, to make it more fun, I played a little game with myself.  How many times will it take before I get it right this time?  (I never guess it right!)  But lately, I've hit on a process that's working a little better for me.  I can usually get the code in 2-3 times.  I look at the code and find the letter that is smaller and up in the air.  It can be in either upper case or lower case.  I type it in the way that I think it should be and then if it doesn't work, I go back and change that smaller letter from one case to the other.  So if I tried a small "f", I go back and change it to "F".  And if I started with an upper case "F", I change it to a lower case "f".  So far this has worked more times than it's not!  There's really no rhyme or reason.  What works one time doesn't necessarily work the next, but bottom line, if you keep trying, you will eventually get the code to work and you'll get your hard earned cent!

Offers / A Quick Five Cents!
« on: April 06, 2013, 11:45:50 am »Message ID: 717076
Today, when I went to the daily FC surveys, I had five available to me.  I thought, oh yeah, a quick $.05 because I almost never qualify for a survey.  But when I saw the "consolation prize" icon next to the surveys, I knew I was going to get at least $.01 for TRYING to qualify.  The first four surveys went as expected.  I made $.04 very quickly, but on the fifth survey, I QUALIFIED!!!!  And now I have a relatively quick $1.04!  The survey said it was a household grocery study, but I never saw anything about groceries.  I answered questions about cell phone providers, qualified, and completed the survey.  I'm a happy camper.

Off-Topic / I Just Discovered Powdered Peanut Butter!
« on: January 07, 2013, 04:33:30 pm »Message ID: 668471
Do you know about powdered peanut butter?  My neighbor told me about it and I ordered a jar for myself!  The peanuts are slow roasted, then pressed to remove 85% of the fat and oil.  Today was my first taste, and I'll be a fan for life.  All the rich, creamy taste of regular peanut butter, but relatively guilt-free.  It's just 45 calories for a 2 Tablespoon serving. The other jar of peanut butter in my cabinet, a "reduced fat" version, has 180 calories for the same 2 Tablespoon serving!  Amazing!

Off-Topic / Geminid Meteor Showers Dec. 14th
« on: December 14, 2012, 12:56:42 pm »Message ID: 656713
Want to see a major meteor shower?  Look to the skies on December 14/15.  Late night will show the most activity, an hour or two after midnight.  My husband and I watched last night starting about 11:30 p.m. and counted 63 meteors in an hour and 50 minutes.  They were spectacular.  It was like watching a fireworks show without the different colors!  It doesn't matter where you live or what part of the sky you watch.  I hope you get to witness the excitement.

FusionCash / FusionCash Points Program Ending?
« on: December 11, 2012, 10:44:29 pm »Message ID: 655723
Today I got an email saying that due to low demand, FusionCash is ending it's points program.  Did anyone else get this email?  What "points program" is it referring to?  We are usually rewarded in cash, even if it's only one cent, not points.  Just hoping someone can clarify this for me.  Thanks!

Offers / Robots: Caught on tape video
« on: November 19, 2012, 06:23:18 pm »Message ID: 644568
Is anyone else here confused by the Robots: Caught on Tape video.  It was interesting and different and perhaps the wave of the future to consider that we could look outside our window and see a robot passing by, but I'm not sure why anyone would pay us to watch the video.  Are they advertising something that I missed?

FusionCash / Our Daily Quotation
« on: July 23, 2012, 09:54:46 am »Message ID: 575621
Do you read your daily quotation?  When you open up your "Daily Cash Email", you will find a daily quotation.  If you take the time to read these quotes, you can add some golden nuggets to your life.  Like todays...

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."
-- Leo Buscaglia

I was just thinking how true that is.  My mom lives in an assisted living residence.  Many of the people there do not have relatives close by and I'm sure they get lonely. The littlest token of attention could be a bright spot in their day.

I think it's very meaningful that Fusion Cash has enriched our "Daily Cash Email" with those quoted "nuggets".  It would behoove us to stop and read them on a daily basis.

Off-Topic / Our Granddog was sprayed by a skunk!
« on: June 25, 2012, 03:09:55 pm »Message ID: 560372
We keep our daughter's little miniature pinscher for her while she is touring with her band (which is most of the time). Cinnamon has become very protective of our backyard, and last Friday night she was dutifully chasing a skunk out of her personal territory, when she suffered the consequences. My husband was outside with her when it happened, and he said she was coughing and sputtering and wiping her face like crazy on the grass.  At first smell, I immediately started Googling what to do.  The ehow article that I found said to shampoo her with dog shampoo first, then rub either tomato sauce or tomato paste into her fur and let it stand for twenty minutes. You then rinse, dry, and repeat the tomato rub for another twenty minutes. It said that if the dog still smelled bad after the tomato application, you could try a peroxide, baking soda, dog shampoo recipe. Many websites will tell you that the tomato product method for getting rid of skunk smell is a myth, but thankfully, it worked for us and we didn't need any further treatment.  She was back to her regular doggy smell the next day.

Support / Where is "Air Patrol"?
« on: May 25, 2012, 11:29:32 am »Message ID: 542871
For the last couple of days I haven't been able to find "Air Patrol" in the Flash Games category of the daily PTC.  Has this been a problem for anyone else?  When I click on "Flash Games", it gives me a daily comic.  I still can see the link at the top labeled "Air Patrol", but it doesn't work.  I looked forward each day to trying to improve my score.  I had gotten to a whopping 1800+ and was proud to even get THAT high. I have given out the information about the flash game "challenge" in the forum to people asking for tips on how to make money at FC, so I'm concerned that it may no longer exist and all that info is misleading.
