Today, I completed a survey and got a thank you message, saying I would be getting my reward.  I'm still waiting for it to show up in my account.  It's only been thirty minutes, so maybe there's still hope.

UGetPaid, I read the quotation in the daily email.  I thought today's was a relevant followup to my experience yesterday.  You may have seen me complaining in another thread that I had spent forty minutes completing a survey only to find "Quota Exceeded."  But I didn't give up and, despite my frustration, and snagged a winner!  The Quote says,

I feel your pain.  It happens way too frequently these days.  I had one today that took about 40 minutes with no credit at the end.  But I tried another, (glutten for punishment) and was rewarded with a $1.90 winner. (I'm hearing in my head, winner, winner, chicken dinner!)  But that's too dumb to officially include in the sentence.

The whole pronoun thing is crazy!  BTW, my granddog has Addison's disease, and SHE has taken medicine every day to control it, for years!  In English class in the 60's, we were taught to use he/she if unsure of gender.  I guess that has a whole new meaning today.

Update:  Lesson Learned - Never Give Up!  I decided to give it one more try, and snagged a $1.90 completion.  It took less time than the one where I got DQ'd!  And I was able to do the PTC!

I made up my mind this morning that starting today, every day this month I would keep working until I find a survey to complete, in hopes of reaching a payout.  I had such good intentions.  I was DQ'd a few times, then (accidentally) clicked on a $.30 survey.  My finger had headed for a much higher payout, but I decided to try the survey anyway.  It was one of those political types that drone on forever.  I finally came to the end, about 40 minutes later, and I got "Quota Exceeded." I think my good intentions for the month are wavering!

I'm up to $19.31. I could probably cash out it if I tried hard enough, but would have to spend all my time on FC, and I have other things going on.  I'll cash out early next month, then get a head start toward my next payment!

I hate hearing this one or that one "dies at the age of ___."  Some of them shakes me up when the news that they  are that age makes me feel old and I don't like that and I'm shocked at how old they look if they publish a picture. I still remember them at the age they were when popular. 

I get that same feeling, just looking in the mirror!. I remember my mom when she was in her 90's saying she didn't realize she was old until she looked in the mirror.  She lived to be 105!

I'm glad to hear of those doing well at QuickRewards.  I've only cashed out once, but I haven't been working on it.  I need to pay it more attention!  I go to play the games that pay.  I absolutely LOVE Swagbucks.  I don't have any trouble making money there.  Of course, I wasn't a member way back, so I don't know how much better it was then, but I do think, now, that the variety of ways to earn is incredible. You never get bored  or run out of ways to earn a few cents!
