Offers / Re: Free Hunting Knife Offer....
« on: December 29, 2012, 03:17:01 pm »Message ID: 663113
I really wanted to try this offer.  The knife looked beautiful and I knew my husband would like it, but I was scared off by the fact that you had to cancel your membership or you would end up spending money.  I guess I'm too skeptical that an offer is too good to be true and don't want to get into something I can't get out of.  It's nice to see someone report back and see how it worked for them.  Sounds like you got a good deal!

Offers / Re: Not seeing all of screen on videos
« on: December 29, 2012, 03:11:05 pm »Message ID: 663111
I, too, noticed this happening to a couple of my videos.  I was still able to watch them and get credit, so it wasn't a big concern.  But it's nice to come to the forum and see that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. This forum is such a great resource for solving/understanding the issues that pop up at FC from time to time.  You can always get an answer in the forum either through old threads or starting your own!

FusionCash / Re: Has anyone used what they have earned in Fusion cash to but things from Fusion C
« on: December 27, 2012, 09:50:10 pm »Message ID: 662292
I really hadn't looked at it that way, but I bought several items for Christmas through the shopping option.  So I could say I used my FC payments to pay for those purchases, but what's even cooler -- I got money back through the cashback feature.  So I made even more money using the free money I'd already made!  Woo hoo!

FusionCash / Re: how do you pass newbie status

I think having names for the different levels of posts is just another example of how FC keeps us interested and motivated.  Variety is the spice of life.  Think of how dull it would be if you posted every day and you never had any levels to move up to.  The different levels may really appeal to some people. It's just another cool "stickability" point for FusionCash, and I'm glad we have it!

Payments / Re: MY FIRST CHECK

Congratulations, Christyhyde!  There's nothing like that first payout!  But as you keep cashing out, the excitement never ends. Best wishes for a long future here at FusionCash!

Off-Topic / Re: I'm trying to drink my 8 glasses of water a day
« on: December 26, 2012, 11:40:36 pm »Message ID: 661740
When I started reading this thread, I ran to get my water bottle. I needed to drink a few more ounces for the day.  My chiropractor asks me every visit if I have been keeping up with my water intake.  He recommends the same as BK_Adores_Chase's uncle -- that you drink in ounces, half your body weight.  I have actually accomplished that today, and I hope my body appreciates my efforts!

Off-Topic / Re: what is your preference?

I rarely use checks any more.  I've been very happy with PayPal, and find it convenient to use.  It's also easy to transfer funds from my bank into PayPal, if my account gets too low.  PayPal has a great reputation and I feel safe using it.

Off-Topic / Re: cruises

I've been on three cruises and loved each.  I was with a group all three times and I do believe the group atmosphere made them more memorable.  If you've never been on one, my comment is to be prepared for the lifeboat drill where they show you how to wear your life preserver and what to do in an emergency.  I had never heard about the drill before my first cruise and wasn't expecting it.  I guess if an emergency did occur, you would be mighty glad you'd been given some previous instructions.

FusionCash / Re: What will you do with your money

I have a subscription with a company that gets paid monthly through my PayPal account.  I am having to transfer money to PayPal from my hometown bank less often now that I have FusionCash payments building up my PayPal account!  It's a great feeling to be earning this free money through my own efforts at FC!

FusionCash / Re: Reached 200 referrals today
« on: December 26, 2012, 11:00:29 pm »Message ID: 661729
premar16, Congratulations on your accomplishment.  Even if the 200 aren't now active, if they completed the first step, that earned you $200. I will definitely look for your advice when I have more time after the holidays.  I have one active referral who is a friend and "gets" the big picture!  But I also have one inactive that I got when I sent out an ad on a safe list.  It was very exciting to get that referral.  I do wish I had some way to contact him/her with welcome and encouragement.  I looked for the user name in the forum, but couldn't find a post anywhere.  Still, I earned a dollar!

My only problem was getting here on Christmas.  It had nothing to do with glitches, just couldn't get to the computer during our Christmas celebration with family.  I believe it's the only day I've missed all year!

I love to wish people a Merry Christmas.  It's cheerful, heartfelt, and I hope brightens their day.  I grew up wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, and it's just sad that it has changed to Happy Holidays.

Off-Topic / Re: What do you do with your spare change?

We have an old jar with my daughter's first grade picture on it.  She was taking up money in elementary school for a school money making project and we now use this jar for our extra change.  I don't empty my pockets on a regular basis, but when I see any coins lying around, I stick them in the jar.  It's about full, so I need to take it to the bank.  It's mostly pennies.

Off-Topic / Re: Christmas Cookies
« on: December 20, 2012, 12:52:47 pm »Message ID: 659503
I love old fashioned sugar cookies decorated with colored icing and sprinkles of all kinds.  I have many different Christmas cookie cutter shapes.  I do hope I will have time to bake some this year.  I'm making a pound cake first.  I can still remember how great my grandmother's pound cake always tasted.  Of course, she used real butter and eggs.  How could it NOT have been good.  I try to stay health conscious and cut down on some of the fat and calories, but it's still good to me!

Off-Topic / Re: Lower Gas Prices- Just in time for holiday travel!
« on: December 20, 2012, 12:47:56 pm »Message ID: 659498
The lowest I've seen gas in my town in the last couple of days was $3.14.  When I was growing up, gas was $.20 a gallon!!!  Can you believe that!
