Why is it funny to cause someone else pain? I don't understand the need to do it and when it is brought to the attention of the other person all they do is laugh. Why? I don't get the point. What am I missing here? Thanks for letting me vent.

My daughter went to her junior prom last night. She was beautiful. She even made it back home before midnight. The dance ended at 11:00. She is a good girl. I am so very proud of her. Just had to brag. Thank you.

Can any tell me how one parent can turn their back on their child? Parents get divorced but does that mean that one parent gets to turn away form their kids? My kids are hurting and I can't help them. It has been four years, my daughter tries to act tough and like it doesn't bother her but I can tell by the things she says
 that she is still hurting really bad. She turned 17 Friday and her father didn't even call her.  My son is 18 and started college this year and he has started to see his father in a different light. He too is hurting and i don't know what to do. Any advice from anybody? This is tearing me up. I don'y like seeing my kids hurting. Thanks for letting me vent.

Today is my baby's 17th birthday. I am sad, but she is happy. It does not seem like she should be 17. It just seems like i brought her home from the hospital. The time has flown by. She has grown into a beautiful young lady but she will always be my baby.

Why do people want what they can't have or what is bad for them etc? I must be nuts. I will be fine. Just needed to vent I guess. I would not go back that I know for sure, but it still hurts.

Found out today that my big brother  (I am 41 he is 43) was and is willing to kick butt for me and my daughter. I thought he did not care, boy was I wrong. Made my day. Got to love family.
