Off-Topic / Re: IF YOU FOUND A BETTER GPC SITE THAN FC WOULD YOU CHANGE?

I agree, why not do both? I'm off and on a few different sites similar to this one, and they all have their ups and downs. some are more fun than others, and some pay more than others, and some are more complicated. i figure, why not put in a little effort here and there and just work up the savings on all of them.

I only buy one brand, one color, and one style of socks. Makes it a lot easier at laundry folding time!! They are white!

I have never re-gifted, but I dont see anything wrong with it. I just typically am able to find some use for most things I receive as gifts.

i dont believe in any of it. a bunch of phooey bologna :P if and when the world ends it will be because we didnt take care of it and kill off life. even then, the world will surely continue, most likely going in a cycle as most things in nature do.

Off-Topic / Re: How much do you tip?
« on: October 09, 2011, 08:01:37 pm »Message ID: 429745
touchy subject im sure... but i always tip something... even if it did take 45 minutes to get the food. it may have been someone else fault (not the servers) and even if not, the server still took the time to bring the food to you, and knowing how hard it can be to make ends meet on $3-something an hour, or worse yet, for tips only, i still almost always leave something, even if its a dollar. its true some servers get paid full wages.
as far as the delivery charge on orders from pizza places and the like, i have worked in a pizza place before and although i wasnt a driver, i know the drivers did not get any $ from the delivery charge. they got incentives (maybe a free oil change after a year of service or something else totally not worth the mileage and wear on the car in my opinion). and, in my experience, a late delivery was rarely if ever the drivers fault.. it was usually either the retaurants busy, the cooks messed up or mixed up an order, or the weather. i worked as a waitress on several occasions and put up with a lot of rowdy customers, bad tippers, rude people etc. its a lot of work to run back and forth to one table for jelly, ketchup, refills, etc especially when your feet are tired. i have received my tip in a handful of pennies thrown in the drink glass from drunk customers before.  i also once worked as hotel maid for tips only... that didnt last long as i worked nearly a week without pay. its surprising how many ppl dont tip!!

Off-Topic / Re: Which one is your favorite Chicken, Beef or Fish?
« on: October 09, 2011, 07:48:40 pm »Message ID: 429741
hmm hard to say... definitely not fish, tho its the healthiest! we eat a LOT of chicken, but if the beef is prepared right (a yummy ribeye for example!) then i prefer it over chicken.

BK fries are better, hands down. mcdonalds has the worst fries in my opinion. bk burgers are also usually better but i like mcdonalds chicken. you cant beat a mcchicken for a dollar! my husband has also introduced me to the wendys value menu chicken sandwiches and they are pretty darn good too!

I am 27, (but usually only admit to 25!) and I have no kids, maybe someday, im undecided. we have a dog, two cats, four snakes, a tarantula, and a bunch of fish. and thats after i cut back on pets for the move! i recently relocated to kansas from missouri (my husband is in the army) and I have been looking into ways to make money from home to help us save up. i must admit theres not a lot of money in these cash sites, but if youre dedicated and patient, you can earn, and every little bit helps. plus there are often deals you just dont find anywhere else!

Off-Topic / Re: Have you ever froze a pet?
« on: October 09, 2011, 07:08:24 pm »Message ID: 429722
lol! i just had to comment on this one! i personally have not frozen a pet, altho i have frozen various critters for research purposes! when i was a kid my mom froze our cat through the winter so we could bury it in the spring after the ground defrosted. morbid topic i suppose, but really, why is it so disturbing to some people? i mean, seal it up and its fine. by the way... freezing bugs doesnt work so well, they come back to life, and freezing reptiles is not like freezing mammals... reptiles get all mushy and useless.
