Off-Topic / Re: What would you rather do be at home and work or work outside the house
« on: October 12, 2011, 08:37:22 pm »Message ID: 431466
I like to do both.  I need to work outside the home to be around others & keep up with the world (and it pays better) but I also like to work at home so I can multi task & keep up with my housework. I also care for my ill mother so it's easier to do when working from home.  I don't have to worry about her as much as i do when I am away at work.

Off-Topic / Re: A Few of My Favorite Things

A few of my favorite things: 1- sleep (when I can) 2- my 2 year old nephew 3- my dog, Whiskey (he's a boston terrier) and  my most favorite thing is having the chance to raise my youngest sister and teach her to do all the things I didn't do when I was her age (and teach her NOT to do the things I did!)  Lord knows she needs someone to look up to so I'm glad I can be that person for her.

Off-Topic / Re: what's better KFC or Popeyes?

I like KFC.....especially the popcorn chicken, oreo pie, coleslaw & mashed potatoes with gravy!  I prefer the extra crispy vs the original or grilled though

Off-Topic / Re: Burger king or mcdonalds??

I like McDonalds the best although sometimes I prefer Burger King's fries.  And now that Burger King has soft serve ice cream....they have strawberry sundaes whereas McD's doesn't but BK doesn't have the little peanuts to put on it.  But McD's has better food, fries & coffee drinks and lower prices so I have to go with them.

I like to use body wash. Not a big fan of the bar soap.  Too slimy & yucky

I am 31 years old, no children but I have a dog who is like a child sometimes.  I also care for my mother who is ill & my youngest sister since she is still a minor.  Everyone thinks I am her mother anyway.  Never any time for myself except at night when I get on the computer, make a little money on FC before I fall asleep.  Nice to know that there are other "real" people on here.

Off-Topic / Re: Flu Shots...Yea or Nay?

No flu shot for me.  Not only do I not like to get shots but I am allergic to eggs & they say people who are allergic to eggs shouldn't get the shot.  I don't think it helps anyway.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you prefer to shave, wax or use nair
« on: October 12, 2011, 07:44:22 pm »Message ID: 431415
I shave.   Nair smells & doesn't seem to work well.  I'm kind of a baby when it comes to pain so I'm too chicken to try waxing.  I'll stick to shaving thank you very much  :)

Off-Topic / Re: A $5 fee for using your own bank debit card?
« on: October 12, 2011, 07:39:35 pm »Message ID: 431411
i think it is ridiculous for them to charge to access your own money. I don't use my debit card often - I try to stick to cash whenever possible. Pretty soon there will be fees for EVERYTHING.  I used to bank somewhere that charged you for calling in to speak to a live person.  Can you believe that?  $2 to speak to a person because computers can't answer everything!  needless to say, they didn't have my business long after that started.  I left BOA before this $5 fee came about because they took away the rewards/points program that I was in as well.  Seems like businesses these days don't care about customer loyalty anymore.  My mom used to pick a bank/insurance company/pharmacy etc & stay with them forever.  I had to teach her that she doesn't benefit from that anymore like back in the good ole days when loyalty mattered.

Off-Topic / Re: What social networking site do you use?

I use facebook.  All the time!  It's a great way for me to "talk" with my sister who lives far away. She has my only nephew & she posts pictures all the time so it's the only way I get to see him growing up.  Also have reconnected with childhood friends as well.  It's interesting to see them all grown up now just like me.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you drink out of the jug?

I don' drink out of the jug - it's gross.  Have to agree with the others - too many germs/backwash/you name it.  My rule of thumb is that if it is for more than one person then use a cup!

I am new here too.  Just made it up to $25 for my first cashout! I do the Paid to click, daily email & videos.  I just figured all this out after about a month on here.  consistency is the key apparently. just plug away for a few minutes a day & it can all add up quickly.  good luck to you!
