I enjoy the Whopper also.  Don't eat out much so I think any place that has a burger would be fine right now. :)

It seems like "those kind of days" for me are getting closer together.  Used to only have them on occassion, but now they seem to come more often.

I really don't have a favorite on the Food Network channel.  I enjoy watching all the shows they have, but if I need to choose a favorite it would be Resturant Impossible.  It is amazing what they can do in 2 days.

Well I really can't say I have a favorite drink.  If you mean alcohol, years ago I would have said rum and coke, but I don't drink anymore.  Now I prefer just a glass of ice tea or soda.

My father quit cold turkey after smoking for almost 50hrs.  I just got up on morning after retiring and said "I am done with things".  Picked up the pack and threw them in the trash.  My mom quit after she retired, but she did it gradually.  They have both since passed away, but I have to give them credit that they quit.  Goodluck to anyone who is in the process of quitting.

I really had to laugh when I saw Granddog.  Another way is to bathe them in lemon juice.  Although I prefer the tomato juice bath.  Been through that with my mini schnauzer once.  Boy, she stunk!!!!!!

I haven't been to a garage sale(s) in a long time.  Used to like going, but due to prices of gas around here, really cannot afford to waste the gas.  Also the little towns near me have community garage sales in April and May.  Sometimes you can park in one block and visit 10-20 sales without moving your car.  Thats a great way to so garage saling.  Happy hunting everyone.

Off-Topic / Re: Is your Walmart yucky?

The Wal mart near me is very clean.  Although they really need to improve on the customer service side.  Very rude and not helpful at all.  The prices are great, but sometimes they don't have sale item in stock.  I don't really care for their fresh meat or vegetables.  I would rather get my grocery items at Krogers or Meijers.

Thanks for all the good information.  I live in Ohio so I don't have a Sunflower store near me.  I usually only buy meat if on sale and good price.  Don't have room to buy in bulk so very limited on what I can purchase.  Trying to save a little money and purchase a small chest type freezer.  If all else fails I quess I will be eating more vege's and fruits to avoid having to pay high prices for meat.

My worst fear would be to get Alzheimers.  My mother had it and I was her caregiver for 4yrs before her passing.  It was horrible to see the changes in her and not be able to help.  It is one of the most devastating diseases I have ever seen.  I pray everyday that the people who have this disease for them not to have to suffer and for their caregivers.

Well it sounds like meat prices are going up again.  :( The reason if due to the drough the United States is suffering from.  I am sure that everyone will see that not only meat will go up, but almost sure everything will.  If meat goes up very much, quess I won't be buying much.  It is almost out of reach for me now, not sure how I will purchase meat if it goes much higher.

Never really heard of that test.  Don't think I would take it, because I probably already know the answer.  It would tell me that I am alot older than I really am.  Most days I feel older.

Well here in west central Ohio we finally got a little rain and a very short cool down.  We have gotton about 1-2inches of rain over the last 36hrs.  Doesn't sound like much, but what little we get will help.  Only going to be in the low 80's today, but suppose to be back in the mid to upper 90's over the next few days.
