I haven't received my first Trumpulous check.  Called IRS and was told it was on the way.  Pffft whatever.

There are a few different movies I like during the holidays for different occasions.
For a kid friendly movie - Elf
And for a movie with older kids.  The Ref.
For baking cookies and having background noise polar express.

Off-Topic / Re: WOW I am spending a lot on groceries

My grocery shopping habits have changed dramatically since last spring.  I started eating isagneix shakes.  2 shakes a day, snacks and one plate and fork meal a day.  My husband decided he has his own diet and will eat what he wants.  So I only cook 2 nights a week.  The 2 nights I'm off from my full time job.  I buy quick convenient garbage meals for my teen to heat up.  It's cheaper for her to eat the school lunch rather my buy the groceries for more added junk to fill a bag.

I suppose it would depend on where I'm at in my life and which direction I plan to go.  Right now I rent so if I had $50,000 handed to me I would use it to buy a dump and fix it up while still living in the rental I'm in now.  In fact my husband and I were literally just talking about this right before I opened up the post.  Interesting.  How the timing of things inspires one sometimes.

Off-Topic / Re: How many phones are in your home?

We don't have a land line.  Haven't had one since we tried the magic jack over 7-8 years ago. Between everyone in our home we have 5 working phones I know of for sure.  I have recently purchased another for when one goes out because it was a heck of a deal through the company I work for.  Recently busted my kid for using an expired phone from one of her siblings....so hmmm... hopefully there are only 5 in the household working now.

Nice! The saying is true.  Gotta play to win.  I never play lotto unless I'm given a ticket.  I did however find a penny for the 2nd time in the last 2 weeks and it's head was up.  Woot woot!

The bags these days are so stinking thin 1/2 the time they split or tear.  Someone once told me this is from recyling plastics over and over again.  I work in a grocery store (although not in the front end) and just about every shift, I come home with a bag or two.  I too re-purpose the bags and use them for little trash cans around the house.  I've been known to stash them in the car or my pockets when my kids were little or during pregnancies.

Yes they are here in Illinois.  It feels like we didn't get much of a summer.  It was cold much longer than usual.  It was raining more than ever.  So much many of the farmers fields were washed out. And when we finally did have summer days it felt like 1/2 the day was rainy as well.  Now the kids are already in school and fall temps and atmosphere is changing quickly.

I would not have married a 2nd time.  It was for all the wrong reasons and what's worse I had children involved that really loved the guy.  (Probably more than I ever did) We had fun.  But it was an expensive lesson.  Sometimes I question if I truly took the lesson to heart.

I try and get a post in every day.  I have a little bit of a routine in the mornings before I go into work and FC is one of them.  If I don't have time one day I try harder the next day to make 2 posts.  In fact this is my 2nd post today because I missed yesterdays.  I had to leave earlier just to get to the library...sometimes there just isn't enough time in the day.

Ironically, I work in a deli/bakery.  I however and doing what I love most every day.  I have a niche and work as a cake decorator.  Honestly if I didn't have the creative outlet I may not be in retail today.  I hear a lot of people say what your saying. Most are young.  And aren't looking to make serving salads and slicing meat and cheese as a full time career.  My son also works in the same store as me.  He's now a department head and making more $$$ than me at 19.  He says it's just a job.  He played his cards right to get the promotion at such a young age.  Keep on honing in your passion.  Who knows you may land something within the company you work for with your freelancing.

My department head is heading to Florida today for a vacation.  Of all times to hit the beach.  I'm praying for the storm to fizzle out.  Thankfully I live in an area where hurricanes aren't a thing... we do however have to deal with tornado's.

I don't have a favorite play.  I've been to a few but nothing won me over.  (At least not yet) I did however see a high school play of Alladin years ago and I couldn't believe how good it was for the age of the kids and efforts of everyone involved in putting it together.  I went to winter jam for the first time and gotta say it was the best bang for the buck.  I will be doing it every year if I can from here on out.

Depends on the events and ages of my loved ones.  I used to look forward to Christmas morning... seeing the kids faces when Santa came.  I'd gear up for that moment.  Not I'd be more excited for them to sit next to me at a church service.  Events all remain the same but the development of those around me shifts like the wind.

I've simplified over the years.  At one time I was enrolled in over 200 sites.  Talk about wasting time and having no life.  I'm committed to FusionCash and try and it in here daily.  I'm in a few other sites aside from this one but if I miss out on a day or 2 or 12 it's no biggie to me.
