I am having trouble this year, it seems like a step forward and 2 steps back.  So many of the family are sick or are having to quarrantine.  Hopefully it will be all done now so that next week will be  lots of fun.

We are getting ready to have our annual cookie exchange party.  We had to not do for a couple of years so we are all really excited.    So far we have  butter cookies )she makes them bright green and red like trees and wreaths), sugar cookies all decorated like Christmas, Cranberry White Chocolate, Peanut Butter Kisses, Chocolate Chip, Maccaroons, shortbrtead.  I can't wait to see what some of the others are making.  IT is fun to be able to serve guests such a variety of cookies without having to bake all the different ones.  We have some friends that are fabulous bakes and decorators.

Well for 2 days we have turkey and dumplings.  My family loves dumplings.  On Sunday I made it into turkey tortilla soup, it is so good.  Sometimes I think I like the leftovers better than the original meal.  We have some yummy soup now for a couple of days

I heard them talking on the news today about selling marijuana in some Circle K store  So far only abput 10 just to see how it would work.  I think a lot of states it is not legal so will have to see how this works out.

The weather has been extra crazy here for the past few weeks.  We are having very high humidity in a place that usually has none.  It's from some monsoonal rains in a state near us, that usually doesn't share this.  I hate humidity like this, it makes it feel hotter and just generally uncomfortable.  Especially when you are not use to it!

I saw that this dropped yesterday for streaming.  I can't wait to watch this weekend.  I loved the first season, was laughing so hard my husband got up to see what was happening on the final episode of the first season.

Also, Hocus Pocus 2 has dropped it's trailer.  I loved the first movie so am anxious for this one to come out.
