I love watching, stargazing.  Our little guys think that they are star angels,  they always give them names.

Off-Topic / Re: DO you shop online?
« on: February 27, 2014, 04:48:28 pm »Message ID: 855330
I shop online frequently and have for years.  We lived in the middle of no where for awhile and it was just to must to get to the "Big City to do shopping.  So I started ordering on line, especially for the holidays.  What a relief to have the stuff show up when the weather is bad and you cannot get to the stores.  Or like you have no transportation.  It also save me a lot of time. and I do less impulse shopping.  Now that I am back in a city I do go to stores more often, but still do a lot on line.  I have never had a problem with identity theft, or problems with returns and most places offer free shipping.

We are finally get some rain,  not enough to help the drought but it is better than nothing.  We are mostly enjoying the rain.     It is still in the 75 degree temperature range.

I love  :heart  Fusion Cash.  Since we are so cash strapped every little bit helps.  When you get in a time crunch for a bit the money you've earned is still there waiting.  Usually I get at least the $25.00 a month but the last 2 months have been hard to get any spare time to work on FC, but I know I will be at more than $25.00 next month.      ]

I enjoy watching the Olympics, but it kind of loses something when every news channel has to tell you  the outcomes of every event.

We always celebrate, just because you are celebrating DOES NOT mean you are drinking and getting stupid.  We have the corned beef, cabbage, Irish butter, potatoes the works.  It is a fun holiday, no gifts, no pressure, just time to enjoy the family.  We all wear green and just have fun.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you ever feel like you are drowning on debt?
« on: February 27, 2014, 03:03:26 pm »Message ID: 855292
::)  We were having no problems paying all of our bills monthly until about 4 years ago.  We had even decided to start paying everything off at that time.  So when a few months later my husband was in a work accident that left him permanently disabled and then a few months after that a company I worked at for 30 years was sold.  To a company that only kept us on for 6 months, to train their staff then let us all go.  We went from making combined $190,000.00 a year to $28,900.00 a year.  Talk about shell shock.  At least before all of this we had paid almost all of our bills off.  But now it is hard to cover mortgage, and utilities.  I work for several different secret/mystery shopper companies  so I don't ay for groceries or dining out.  I pay but we get reimbursed by the shopping companies.  I just signed up for one that does amusement parks, museums and hotels which should be fun.  But I do understand that drowning in bills feeling.   It's the pitts!  But, we just do the best we can do and keep on swimming.

I wipe off the big stuff and put in the dishwasher.  I feel like the extra hot water in the dishwasher sanitizes them.  I start the dishwasher anytime it gets full.  So sometimes it gets done every other day if not everyday.

It always seems to come back to you in the middle of the night. That is also when the snappy comebacks come to you too.  When it is to late or n one is around that you can wake up!   LOL

Brocolli, asparagus, artichokes, cabbage. all lettuces, beans, celery, green onions, peas, peppers.  I just love vegetables, especially if I can get someone else to prepare!

I will definitely check that out.  I love finding some of the places or channels or whatever where you can find the old  stuff, cartoons, movies, TV programs.
