I use to put in a lot of points for Coke rewards but I only used it for the sweepstakes so never saw any of the "real rewards". It would have been nice to win but after a few months of doing it I stopped. Never even gave it a second thought until now so might start up again just for fun.

Offers / Re: Home Improvement Survey - an FYI
« on: October 24, 2013, 06:40:12 pm »Message ID: 809337
I spent a good amount of time doing the Home Improvement Survey and at the end, after 100% completion, nothing happened.  The window didn't close or anything.  I left it open and went to do something else for a while.  I came back and it said that the survey was complete and I closed the window. My FC window said I would be credited for the survey. I looked at my FC account and yes, I was credited.

I tell you this so you don't close out of the survey window when you are done, in case you think there's a problem and that you want to submit a support ticket.  Just be patient and it should complete on its own.

I have had this happen to me as well where I completed a survey and nothing happen so I closed it. I clicked back on the survey and it said I already tried it so now I know to never close it lol.

Off-Topic / Re: Asking for money
« on: October 24, 2013, 05:44:54 pm »Message ID: 809327
Many people may not have it make ends meet but these people should go the there local department of social services and get  the help they need. Whether it is food, clothes , shelter, or they are looking for work these places can help. As for the kids asking money for their school uniforms it is totally legit! My son' steam had to do the same thing. The reason is not that the parents aren't paying for the uniforms. It's because the school does not having investors that give to the schools funding dept. so what happens is the money parents gives goes to other things like the equipment or transportation to games and the kids have to fund raise the rest. Things are hard for a lot of ppl these days don't let it  :BangHead: u!

The people who stand at the door are approved by Walmart and it's churches, schools, and ballteams or something like that.  The general bums stand at the road.  And the one guy who stood out there this summer had a job.  He stood out there on his days off.  He actually had a pretty good paying job.  And I figure all of the ones standing outside the doors are a legit organization.  My issue isn't so much with them standing there as when I am walking in or out and they can clearly see I am ignoring them and they either yell at me or run up to me.  I think I am going to start telling them MY sob story and how I don't have the money to pay my house payment or electric bill.  Then ask THEM to give me money. lol

Idk.  It just bugs me.  If it was outside where you worked and you had to deal with it 2 to 4 times a day you would understand better.  It's like just leave me alone.  It's funny if you think about it.  You can't afford to pay for whatever it is you are doing so you stand outside Walmart and bum money and get mad when people can't afford to give you money.  Kind of a double standard.

I agree it's one thing if they just stand there but asking and then like you said getting mad at you for not giving isn't right. I go to the Walmart down the street from me almost everyday and there is always someone outside at each door. They ask when you go in and come out I have to pretend I am on the phone I can't stand it. I shouldn't be made to feel bad I don't give money (that I don't have) every time I go grocery shopping.

Word Chains & Countdowns / Re: words that describe your job
« on: October 24, 2013, 05:23:28 pm »Message ID: 809325
I really liked working in retail. for the most part i was the problem solver. always something to do. I am now a homemaker and really miss working. But since moving back home to a very small town there are no jobs for someone my age.

I have worked retail for the past 10 years and I feel the same way about it. There is ALWAYS something to do I guess that could be a good thing or bad thing. Now that we are getting ready for the holidays it seems like our trucks are coming non stop. Don't get me wrong it is a very hard job but from that job I learned how to always keep a smile and good customer service skill. The pay for retail will always be the same you never get compensated as much as you should for what you do but hey it's a job.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Why do people find it necessary..

I don't always spell the words correctly and I have read many posts that had misspelled words. But, I feel that if you can understand what the post is trying to say, just answer the post and keep it moving. Do not criticize someone for incorrect grammer.(grammar)

I feel the same way I have a habit of answering post and not going back to read it. When I type it and read it in my head as I go everything is right. Once I read it back I can't believe I put that without even realizing I repeated a word or have a run on sentence. Like you said as long as I can understand what's going on their is no need to put anybody down that is not what we are here for.  (and yes I ended that sentence with a preposition)

Payments / Re: Strange.

I have never seen amount $0,01. pretty cheap it is.

It's not really that cheap if you look around on paid to click websites.  Getting a penny just for clicking something or trying a survey or 2 pennies for your email daily click is actually quite generous compared to other websites out there.  I've seen a lot of .00001 of a penny to where it's not even a penny you get for clicking ad's.  You have to click so many of those .00001 ad's just to BUILD UP TO a penny.  I suggest taking a look around or even search on google and explore these other websites and you will see a penny that is offered on here is much better than what other websites offer.  I can't tell you how much better it is to click something and receive a couple cents than clicking something somewhere else and receiving a tenth of a penny.  It almost makes you feel pathetic for having to waste the time to earn a tenth of a penny and sometimes even less.  You have to appreciate what Fusion Cash offers here and it may not seem like a lot (I've been guilty of walking past a penny on the sidewalk plenty of times) but it does eventually add up and it makes it easier to add up pennies on here than an actual penny jar you may forget about.

I agree with that I was so use to getting a penny for my clicks when I joined other sites it wasn't the same. Like you said I would get .001 for my clicks and had to work 10 times as harder than just working for pennies. The pennies do add up that is why I save all my pennies at home.
