She should Not get out. The murders were horrific, several of the others have already died in jail as should she. These are just the murders they were proved guilty of, it has come out through the years that there were others including several bodies found on the property where this group lived. I remember them laughing at the details were told in court, and skipping in as if it were all a big joke. They were all sentenced to death, but the governor changed the law or this would not even be an issue.
She should serve her life sentence. Her crime was a malicious, violent, premeditated murder. I've always wondered if the death penalty would be more of a deterrent in these types of crimes. It seems to bother some people to put someone to death even though that person has taken another life on purpose.
Leslie Van Houten was denied parole again even after she has made a lot of progress while she was institutionalized. Please, she is 69 most of her youth is far gone and she probably just have a few more years to go she is no longer a threat to the society. She's been in prison for about 50 years she has paid for her crime. Keeping her locked up won't bring back the dead. Do you believe that prisons are really for rehabilitating or just to punish bad people? I believe it is to punish if Leslie Van Houten is still in prison. They just can't forgive her for what she did!
She should have been put to death a long time ago. Her victims do not get to live out their golden years. Feel no sorrow for her. NO she should not get out of jail. And yes she is still a threat. She needs to die behind bars.
