I think sometimes the family is the last to admit something is wrong with mom or dad.  I think its a hard fact to admit there is something wrong with your parent.

I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband.  Sure there are times we fight, and the fights can get loud, but we both know we love each other.  I get up early and make breakfast for him, which I love doing.  I make sure the house is clean, and supper is usually ready when he comes home from work.  He does so many things for me, and often surprises me with flowers, candy, or even jewelry for just because.  He is my best friend, we have been together for over 35 years and I thank God for him.  He's a wonderful father and a great husband!

I know it can be hard.  I took care of my mother before she passed away and there was a period that she was so mean, yelling, throwing things, hitting.  I had no choice but to call the doctor and he put heron meds to help calm her.  I didn't want her to be like a zombie and she wasn't.  It was just enough to calm her down.  This can be a sign of altzheimers, have you had a doctor check her out?  Good luck and God bless you for taking care of an elderly person, you are a special person.

I get tons of free samples, from toothpaste, lotion, body wash, shampoo, etc.  I honestly can say out of 6 days getting mail I probably get something at least 4 out of 6 days.  Just type free samples in search engine and pick from the list.  It's fun, easy, and always free!  Mostly you will not get full size things, but I figure free is free and I can use the smaller sizes just as well!

My girls learned manners at a very early age.  I think the first things they learned was not to touch certain things, to say thank you and please.  I'm so happy that my grandson, who is 5, also has good manners.

We have about 6 inches of snow and very cold in PA.  The temps are in the teens, but with the wind the real feel temp is in the single digits!

I don't have any sons, but have 2 daughters.  I don't care what the leader's sexual preference is.  It's totally stupid on anyone's ideas that if you are a gay man you will go after young boys, or a gay woman going after young girls.  It's much more important that the person , straight or gay, helps your child learn things and be a better person, and to worry about the "straight, nice man" who "loves little girls and boys".  I have a gay friend who is a teacher in the school system.  She has been in a relationship longer than I've been married.  She has no sexual interest in any child, just like most straight people have no sexual interest in children.

I live in PA and we are suppose to get about 3 to 6 inches.  I hope it's in the 3 inch mark and not the 6!
