Off-Topic / Any Hotwheels collectors?
« on: June 01, 2012, 09:19:28 pm »Message ID: 546526
As a kid I always liked toy cars. The most I liked were Hotwheels. I remember my Dad would buy me 10 or more Hotwheels a month. Sometimes my Mom would get mad at me because I had so many Hotwheels around the house. I would even put my Hotwheels in my soup. When I was bathing in a tub I also would play with my Hotwheels, of course they all would be at the bottom since none of them could float. When I got to may teenage years I didn't care about Hotwheels anymore. I was more interested in girls. In my 30s I don't know what hit me,but one day I was at a toy store buying something for my nephew and I saw a full rack of Hotwheels, they looked better and some models  were just replicas of real cars.  I bought a few. Then, more, then boxes and boxes. Today I have boxes and boxes of HW with many Treasure Hunts, those are the ones with real tires. I have given my HW to my kids and to my friends kids and I also donated in Christmas season for the needy or sick kids. It makes me feel good when I see a kid smile and playing with Hotwheels.

Payments / Re: Has anyone done a survey for a half hour then gotten the sorry you dont qualify
« on: June 01, 2012, 08:58:46 pm »Message ID: 546512
Yes, it has happened to me many times. I answered question after question and after more than 30 minutes of doing the survey it said Sorry You Don't qualified. I did not get paid and I got so tired and I got a big headache. Surveys are suppoosed to be fun not boring and a waste of time. We get enticed by the amount of money you get offered if you finish and complete the survey. I had tried different survey programs, only a few were bad where I had to answer questions and take offers that don't really appeal to me. Not only I would get disqualified, but I would get phone calls from companies offering services that I already have or I'm not interested at all. I think we have to play smart and decide what kind of survey we can take, You have the freedom of choice. :icon_rr:

I used to do both but after 10 years I quit and my health improved a lot. No  more allergies and not getting sick all the time. No more stomach probles and my 's" drive got better. It's not easy to quit, but anybody can do it if they put the guts and effort.

Off-Topic / Re: Cramps in the leg
« on: May 19, 2012, 10:57:30 am »Message ID: 540003
My whole family suffers from leg cramps also known as charlie horses.  Many medical conditions cause leg cramps. One of them is diabetes that causes poor circulation in the legs. Taking minerals like potassium, calcium and magnesium can help ease those horrible cramps.

Weather conditions might contribute to those charlie horses. A  few years ago I went to visit my parents in Virginia to spend Christmas. Two hours after I arrived at their home I got that horrible pain. I couldn't do anything, my wife and kids were scared to see how I was rolling on the floor in paid. My mom who is a retired nurse told me to calm down and just let it go. After a few moments the pain started to go away.

I won't wish that pain not even to my worst enemy. All we have to is follow the doctors instructions dn do more exercise and eat more healthy foods. My was that my cholesterol was high. I put on a diet and I have not have the cramps anymore.

« on: May 19, 2012, 10:33:20 am »Message ID: 539985
You can use any lines or ice breakers you want, but if you look at her *bleep* and legs or look at her like a hungry wolf, then nothing wlll work, you'll see her walk away.
Just approach her and say hi  my name is.....{type bame here}. See what she's wearing, a ring or any type of jewelery even if it looks cheap and giver her a nice complenet like those earrings look nice on you. Tell her that she has nice hair and her pefume is very pleasant. Then when she ask you questions or start any topics don't lie. Don't say I'm a doctor or lawyer whe you could be a candy machine money collector. Be yourself and sincere. Now if you ook better than Bratt Pitt don't do nothing just look at her and she'll melt like butter. ;D

« on: May 19, 2012, 10:20:31 am »Message ID: 539976
I like facebook because I keep in touch with my family around the world. I also have found friends and some enemies that I have not seen in years. There have been people who found lost relatives presumed dead. A guy got a kidney after posting he needed one. I have been involved in sensitive topics like religion, gay marrieage and politics. I have been insulted, mocked and put down. It is also a way to vent out some steam. Of course I don't insult or put people dowm.

Off-Topic / Re: The Beatles
« on: May 17, 2012, 09:22:11 pm »Message ID: 539289
I liked The Beatles music since I was a kid. I remenber playing my dad's records over and over. As a teenager I worked a part time job and I would spent some of the money buying The Beatles' cassettes. I got most of ther albums and compilations.

My family and friends would make fun of me because that was the only music I listened. Someone told me that their music was depressing. I said no, it is not. Then the movie Can;t Buy Me Love came out and I went to watched a few times. I don't know what happened to those cassettes, but now I have The Beatles music in mp3 format and it sounds better. :icon_rr:
