Offers / Watch Out for the Survey with the Cats

I completed the survey and was told it would credit when I clicked on the "Submit" button to go to the next page. Well, surprise, surprise....I was DQ'd and only got a penny. How can that be?  I've done the same survey in other places and was never DQ'd after completing  This is a ripoff but how do you complain since Support never answers tickets anymore?

I'm always DQ'd from regular FC surveys and relied on Tap to make a cashout. This morning, it was gone! I could've cried.  I guess it's back to 6 months before another cashout.   

Tried again. It's back. Didn't look to see if there are any surveys under it yet. I hope there are. In the meantime, I tried 5 surveys under FC and was DQ'd from all of them.

Payments / Does Anyone use Direct Deposit for FC payments?

I just had a big argument with PayPal over bank transfers. Even though my bank is linked to my account, they won't let me instant transfer TO my bank. They said the bank doesn't allow it. So, I asked why PayPal is allowed to take an instant payment FROM my bank if I'm short of funds. That shouldn't be allowed either.

So I'm going to look for another way to received funds from FC and from other places that I can do with my cash what I want to do, not what the place I'm sending cash to decides for me. I've been with PayPal since the beginning and I'm just so frustrated with them lately because this is the 2nd problem I've had with them recently.

Payments / Anyone receive their cashout for April yet?

Statement is "on or before May 20." Didn't get mine yet. It's showing that it's pending. Payouts were something that always came on time. Are they getting slower with these or not going to pay just like the forum  payments? Still waiting for the 4 forum payments from 2021?

Made a mistake. I checked again. Before the 20th, the cashout said "Pending." Today it says "Awaiting payment."

My profile is updated. How can I answer questions incorrectly if the surveys don't open? Those are two excuses I got today after trying to do 9 surveys in a row. Now that's frustrating. I also contacted Tap Support about it. I'm done for today.

Off-Topic / Suggestions to get rid of groundhogs

They have been living under each end of our porch for at least 3 years now. That's where the cats used to stay at night.They eat the cat food after they chase all the cats away. I've got enough problems with chasing a raccoon and/or possum every night before I bring the food in for the night. It's now between 6-7 p.m. brining it in. Used to be 8-9 p.m. but the raccoon shows up between 6-7. The groundhogs are here morning, noon, and night. I chase them at least 6 times a day, bring the food in, take the food back out all day long. Don't get anything else done.

I need to get rid of them. I don't know how without shooting them. Any suggestions?

I've tried 8 surveys and kicked out of all of them saying disqualified or "something wrong." It's very unusual. Even kicked out of the one with the kittens and I've always qualified for that one. Anyone else having that problem?

Offers / Anyone noticing differences in your $$ from TAP?

I try to keep tract of my earnings daily. For the past few days I noticed a difference in what the survey was supposed to pay and what I earned on FC in that survey. Today I kept a little more of a watchful eye. FC says I earned $1.36, Tap said $1.42, difference of $.06. FC email notice said I received credit for this one and that one and adding it up, it was $1.42, yet in my account, it's only $1.36.  It's not much but every penny counts. Just sayin'.

 So if anyone notices this problem, let me know. I'm curious. Thanks.

Like the one that asks your income before taxes, then gives you a range to choose. Some surveys go all the way to $500K. My question is, if you make half a million dollars a year before taxes, why are you sitting there doing surveys?

I've tried 4 or 5 SaySo surveys, was DQ'd from all of them but never got the 1 cent disqualifier penny.  Maybe they're slow at giving those pennies. We shall see.

Only 3 Tap surveys yesterday and 2 today. DQ'd from those. Today 7 cents through DQ, which don't count for PTC. I hope Tap isn't ending again. That's the only way I made anything.

I needed $2.35 to cash out but didn't make it. Would have if Tap wouldn't have shorted the surveys. I ran out of surveys 2 days in a row after only 8 or 9 of them. I could've used that money for Christmas so now i have to figure out another creative way to pay for gifts.

Is it going away again? I tried 5 surveys that kicked me out before I got started and qualified for 4. there is 1 survey left-26 minutes for 8 cents. Not looking good for me to cash out this month. Oh well. I'm used to not cashing out.

Offers / How many People are getting broken links in surveys?

This is going on 3 days now. Just got another one. What happens is you complete a survey and at the very end, the next page says "We are sorry but we could not process your request due to the following:
You are using broken link."

This isn't fair. Yesterday I had a survey that kept repeating the same questions to answer and when I got to 91%, the next page took me back to 33% and then a complete broken link after another half hour of answering those questions. I just love wasting time, don't you?  Well, when letting Tap know, they gave me a whole 2 cents on a survey that should've paid 36 cents but it also took me well over an hour.

This is happening almost every day now. Of course, you don't get any reward for broken links. Then there's the surveys that only pay 3-4 cents. Getting quite a few of those. I'm behind 4 days in $$ because of DQ's and small cents on surveys that take more time than stated.

Off-Topic / Be Careful over this holiday season

I have never had a problem with scams or anyone trying to scam me to access my credit card but I did yesterday. Thank heavens my card company looks out for their customers. I wouldn't have known the first thing to do about it. They contacted me about a charge someone was trying to make on my card and they knew something was up because I am pretty regular with the companies I use my card with.  it was only for $52.00 for groceries(?) but I don't buy groceries on line from anyone. Within 2 minutes of calling my credit card company, they denied the charge, closed my account and opened a new account for me, sending me a new card.  I've had the old account since 1997 so it's going to be hard to get used to a new one  .  They said something about also transferring my automatic accounts over to the new one.  So watch out!

Hackers seem to be getting smarter every year.
