I have been a seamstress for 50 years, I do longarm quilting for people now..glad you are learning, if you get or have a machine just make sure you keep up the maintenance on it..

Scientists are now thinking we may be living in a holographic universe, some say there are parallel universes and different deminsions...I believe ALL things are possible and I certainly hope that they do exist and can't wait to find out..

iphone here and the only reason I have it is because of the camera..I take pictures while I am working on a quilt for a customer..I can send it to them right away...this absolutely thrills them to see how I am making their quilt top into a beautiful work of art...

Ludie...I understand where you are coming from.  These sites can really suck up your time. Breaking it down on an hourly basis can be eye-opening.  I, myself, am in the process of setting boundaries.  I have set a daily goal on another site I will try not working beyond, I am quitting another site once I reach cashout shortly, and I am going to set an amount of time to spend on FC.  I think I am also going to give myself a complete day off each week where I do not work on any site.  I think that day will be Sunday since it is slow anyway.  If one day is not enough, I will take two.  If the amount of money made is just not worth it overall, I will be done with surveys, but I will wait a while to see how it goes.

I know what you mean, I joined way too many 2 years ago and now have gotten it down to 3..it is insane for me to be on any of them as I have my quilting/sewing business back up and running again and that is where I need to be putting my energy...so I will limit my survey taking to 10AM..

I have been a widow for 20 years and sometimes I think it would be nice to have someone to have a date night with but it will happen if it is suppose to happen...in the mean time, I do have a best friend and her and I have set aside every wednesday to do what ever we want, which is usually lunch and stopping at the bar to shoot some pool...
