I have seen it all today. My husband's niece contracted Covid and was in quarantine but suddenly came over his mothers home WITHOUT a mask but with a full face of makeup! (And she was sniffing!) We don't know everything about this virus yet. The nerve. His mom had no mask on but I had on 2 masks. I walked by quickly and exited the house.

Now I'm super paronoid! That was so inconsiderate of her. Wow.

By the way Merry Christmas. Hope everyone had a better day than me.

She is not selfish. Stupid maybe but not selfish. Another word that is used completely wrong.  I am curious as to if she is actually covid positive or just maybe has a cold and it is assumed she has covid.  Just a question. Not sure what difference it makes that she had on make up. lol  Or how you know she was "sniffing" if you were only around her for a few seconds.   IF she does have covid and she knows it then she should have stayed home and wearing a mask would NOT keep her from spreading it.  And just because you come in to contact with someone who has this does not mean you will get it.  I know someone right now who has it.  Six people live in the house.  She has been sick almost 2 weeks and NO ONE else in the house has got sick.  NO ONE. 

I would have left as well but I don't think you need to be paranoid.  You are probably fine.  Esp since you say as soon as she walked in you left.  Seems most people have their big family gatherings over the past couple days.

You must really love to hear yourself speak.The MAJORITY of the members here could care less of your stance with Covid.

You must care a lot as you haven't "blocked" her yet -- if you didn't care about her stance you would have "Ignore Member" her a long time ago instead of constantly following her around & replying to her posts.... Just Saying.

I have 478 thank yous with only a little over 1000 posts.Did you take arithmetic in school?

I am enjoying exposing her in an entertaining way for the forum.I suggest you ignore me if you have a problem with it.

I dont appreciate lying rats.Thats what CG is.I have NO intention to block her.This has been a fun ride getting vindication and having fun doing so.

ALL contributing members that speak the truth.Sure there are some that didnt appreciate us but they can use ignore.

Imagine living for what are essentially "likes" on a PTC discussion board.  No one cares how many "Thank Yous" you get on FusionCash-is that what inspires you to continually stalk & put down members on FusionCash, because people are giving you "thank yous".  How sad.... really really sad.

I mean.. I don't wear a mask.. and I don't feel like it's because I'm stupid but sometimes I do feel bad.  Not because I'm afraid that someone will get sick because of my lack of wearing a mask but because I know people are terrified and I don't want to be the reason someone is afraid to go shopping my Hubby said it's not my fault and that those that are terrified are watching too much news /on social media too much.

To be honest, I don't have a social media (I actually got rid of it this year) and I don't watch the news.  I stay up to date from friends and family who are political junkies and I feel like I am well informed without drowning myself in every bit of information out there.  There are days that I don't even think about the virus.  I haven't changed anything really, I live my life the way I did before this "pandemic" and I'm happy.  If all of us live to be 100 that's still not a lot of time, I don't want to waste the gift of life that has been entrusted to me worrying about what could happen to me or a loved one.  Not that I'm not cautious but.. life is just too short you guys.  Too short to look down our noses at people who don't act or think the way we do (which, I'm preaching to the choir because I pridefully did this more than once this week )

So does this mean you never leave home for any reason?  You feel this is all right because your husband said so?  Do you understand that more than 200,000 have died because of this terrible virus.  People are still dying because of this terrible disease.  SMH because so many people think like you do and you have no right to think that all is okay-IT ISN'T.  I do hope this disease doesn't anyone in your family.

Died OF Covid-19 or died with Covid-19.   Only a reported 6% of the "200,000" deaths have been BECAUSE of "this terrible disease".  George Floyd was positive for Covid-19 when he died, did he die because of Covid-19 or with Covid-19?  Perhaps he couldn't breathe because of Covid-19...

It's just very ignorant.  It's basic science.  If masks didn't work why do doctors wear them?  My state mandated masks in March so everyone wears one and every store requires them so it's not even questioned now.  But it seems that some states are still not doing it and that's just stupid. 

Doctors wear surgical masks, rated N95... they don't wear the flimsy cotton ones with fashion statements.

Should smokers lose their rights to get treated for lung cancer, emphysema, and any other medical aid that is required due to their smoking?

What about those who have gotten diabetes 2 - due to their overconsumption of food & lack of exercise? Should they be denied the right to medical aid because of their obesity?

& what about all those other medical maladies that are caused by poor lifestyle choices... are you overweight? Don't exercise enough?  Eat the wrong types of food?  Do you consume alcohol & have liver damage... No medical aid for any them?  What about someone who gets in an accident by drinking & driving -- leave them to die on the side of the road because no medical aid for them due to being a "selfish stupid person"?

They enforced seabelts now.Pretty soon masks will be enforced.....this is out of control.Wake-up.

I rarely use cash.  I have to use cash to buy my free range eggs because it's at an egg farm & they only take cash, that is about it.

There is a change shortage here, & many stores require exact change for purchases  Easier with a card.

I was planning on going to vote on Tuesday, but i've heard that my local polling spot has been changed & now we have only a couple spots for the whole city.  I'm still going to go vote, but i'll be bringing my filled out ballot in case there is a line & a drop off.  No drop-off, i'll be standing in line listening to an audio book.

Yes.  We currently have two, one mini pumpkin sitting on my fireplace mantle & a medium sized one that was going to go on my porch, but has been sitting uncut & natural in my living room-- it has a nice long stem on it.

No one seems interested in painting or carving them, so there they sit.

Today is the 7 month anniversary of "15 days to slow the spread"...  the virus has over 99.9% recovery rate. Slow the spread has been achieved, IMHO it's all about control.

It's a joke at this point, I think.  My sister-in-law was found to have had it & had zero symptoms & didn't even know it, she is asthmatic as is her son...if you get it it's not necessarily a death sentence. 

Yes, I have CoronaVirus Fatigue, it's all quite tiresome.
