Off-Topic / Concert Tickets
« on: May 05, 2019, 09:58:32 am »Message ID: 1274025
How much would you pay for concert tickets to see one of your favorite singers or bands.  My daughter just told me about tickets to see someone who will be in the area this summer but they are $150. I told her. "No way! Let me know if you see some for under $100 with seats where we can see and hear." I guess I won't be going. There is no one who I want to see that much.

Off-Topic / Kitchen or Bathroom?

If both rooms could be considered equally messy and dirty, which one would you rather clean? I would pick the kitchen as I simply dislike cleaning bathrooms.  There is no particular reason.  I guess it's just a personal preference. I can spread out cleaning the bathroom over almost a whole day if I am not in the mood, and it is particularly true now that I'm retired.

Off-Topic / House Furniture

If you had to pick one piece of furniture you would most like to replace in your house, what is it and why?  For me, it would be my bedroom furniture.  If I could, I would sell it and pick pieces that are not nearly as heavy and cumbersome.  I wouldn't have to replace it because it is worn and not nice.  It is actually about 15 years old but you would never know it.  It is in excellent condition. But there is no way I can move any of it myself, and I would need 2, maybe 3, moving men to budge it. I would also never get the money out of it that it is worth so I'm not about to sell it.

Off-Topic / Mattresses and Pillows

So how do you prefer the density of your mattress and pillow?  I like a somewhat soft, plush mattress but it can't be so soft that there is really no support.  However, firm or very firm mattresses are very uncomfortable for me and feel like sleeping on a plywood board. I like pillows that say they are good for combination sleepers, or on my back and side also.  I like it also to be plush but not completely collapse when I lay on it. I think I am going to try pillows that says they stay cool the next time I buy some.

My guess is they were also restricting calories.  Also, you would have to have a fairly large house.  I will also say that if there are a lot of stairs and you are making an effort to go up and down them so many times each day, you could get numerous steps in and work off some calories!

Off-Topic / Re: Working..For the money or For the love??

I am retired so don't work now, but when I did work, I did not mind the job but I wouldn't say I was crazy about it either. It was somewhere in between. I didn't hate getting up in the morning to get to the job but I sure did look forward to 5 pm when I could go home.

You echo my feelings about my job when I worked.  I am now retired also.  One of the best things about my job was when I was successful helping someone become employable and they received a job offer in my line of work.  Another plus was the people I worked with.  Most were very nice people. However, I didn't love the job and putting in the full 8 hours with sometimes an extra 3-4 hours from home on weekends was drudgery at times.

How do you make enough to cash out every month?
Quite simple, I get disqualified from at least 85 surveys and complete the PTC every day, as well as post in the Forum a couple of times or more.

You don't mean you receive a disqualification cent for 85 surveys per day, do you?

Off-Topic / Re: Healthy eating.

I try to eat healthier daily but 'fall off the wagon" every few days.  I look at it that, at least, I am not eating badly every day.  All you can do is try and after you eat a meal or snack that isn't the best, start over again.  I'm simply not that disciplined!  I would like to be that disciplined as I would really like to lose about 12-15 pounds but we'll see.

Offers / Re: hyprMX

My experience with HyprMx is that you never know how many are loaded for that day or when they will disappear or show up again.  For a short time, I have noted that I can do a few HyprMx, they will disappear, go try a few surveys, and then they will be back under videos.  But you never know!

I have decided that between the amount of surveys I qualify for, surveys I complete and don't credit, and surveys that decide they are going to take back the credit (not many, but 2 within the last 5-6 months), I am no longer going to try to cash out each month.  I have worked on Fusion for close to 4 years, I believe, and have cashed out every month up until now but am getting tired of the daily grind on my 3 sites. My goal is going to be cashing out every other month for at least $40, and if I happen to get lucky, I will more often.

Off-Topic / Re: Hair Color

I would not use one of these colors all-over.  However, I am thinking of getting a couple streaks in the front the next time I get my hair done.  My hair color is auburn and my hairdresser told me I would want to pick warm colors to best match with my warm hair color.

Payments / Re: what is the most earned
« on: May 03, 2019, 02:05:53 pm »Message ID: 1273696
I think Ihe most I have ever earned on Fusion Cash in a month was about $58.  However, the average amount is probably about $32-34. Honestly, I think the amount you earn is not always dependent on the effort you make.  Much of it has to do with meeting all the variables that surveys are looking for.  The older I have gotten, retiring from my job, and earning less income seems to have affected my eligibility on surveys.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you search for another one?

I guess it depends on what you want to earn and how much time you want to spending doing this type activity.  I am on 3 sites right now.  Honestly, if one shut down I am unsure I would look for another one.  It would depend on which site shut down and whether I could find another one easily that I enjoyed.

Off-Topic / How Much Do You Pay for a Haircut?
« on: May 03, 2019, 01:50:33 pm »Message ID: 1273691
I pay between $25-$30 to get a haircut.  I refuse to pay more since there is always a tip expected.  I live in mid-Michigan, and I am telling you this as I know where you live dictates the going price of things.  I usually tip $3.00.  What do you tip for your haircut?

Off-Topic / Hairdresser or Doctor?
« on: May 03, 2019, 01:39:10 pm »Message ID: 1273687
This post is probably oriented toward women more than men, but men can surely respond. The question is whether you would rather find a new doctor or a new hairdresser?  Which would be the bigger stressor?
Myself, I have trouble changing hairdressers and have done this the most often.  I have been with my doctor a little over 10 years.  Having medical background, I guess I would just feel comfortable interviewing doctors. However, finding a competent hairdresser at a price that is not ridiculous is no easy matter.  Right now I am settling in with a new hairdresser I have seen about 4 times but I am still not sure as her prices are a bit high. Her skills seem fine so we'll see...
