Support / Account Notifications
« on: December 01, 2016, 05:57:02 am »Message ID: 1108170
Have you ever received notice about your account that a surveyor has decided to renege on your incentive?  Well, right in the middle of trying to earn more pennies on this site, I received about my sixth one out of two years on Fusion.  What is funny is not only watching your account suddenly go backwards, but that no other site where I've participated has done such a thing!
Why is that ability enabled on Fusion?  What kind of agreement did Fusion make?  I know that now and then people try fraudulent things on these sites, but a reputable participant who has been on a site for a lengthy period should not have such things done.  Those who do should have their entire account disabled.  But those who provide honest effort and time should not.  Just because you completed a survey in a shorter time than average or they didn't receive the responses they wanted is NO reason!

Off-Topic / Daylight Savings Time Again
« on: November 04, 2016, 02:33:11 pm »Message ID: 1103290
Yes, tomorrow, Saturday, November 5, it will be time to turn your clock BACK when you go to bed if you live in a state that has Daylight Savings.  I wish we could just let this whole time thing alone because now it will be dark about 5:30 p.m. before long.  I hate that!  The evening seems to go on and on until it's time to go to bed.  And you can't go to sleep too soon or you'll be up at 3 a.m. if you're anything like me.  Then you probably know what it's like in the morning.  Dark again.  When I worked it was dark going to work and dark after you come home within the hour.  If I worked a bit overtime, it was dusk on the drive home.  I can't imagine living in Alaska.

Off-Topic / Caregivers Month
« on: November 04, 2016, 01:14:10 pm »Message ID: 1103276
November is National Family Caregivers month.  A caregiver usually gives much of their time, heart, and themselves to the people they care for.  Are you a caregiver, receive care, know a caregiver?  Please show your thanks and know that if you are one, someone is very grateful, even if they are unable to express it.

Off-Topic / Straight or Split Ticket
« on: November 04, 2016, 01:06:43 pm »Message ID: 1103275
Which will you vote...a straight or a split ticket?  Is this how you usually vote?  What is your rationale? I always vote a straight ticket because I think the same party will support each other more and get some work done---hopefully!

Off-Topic / What Would Get My Political Vote
« on: November 03, 2016, 02:05:31 pm »Message ID: 1103066
The other day I heard a figure regarding how much Hillary and The Donald was supposed to have left in their "War Chests" and it was quite an amount.  Supposedly, it will go for final ads trouncing one another just before the election.

You know what I would really respect...If one of them had donated a good amount feeding some hungry children here in this country or contributing toward cancer or Alzheimer's research, for example.  That might have gotten my vote.

Off-Topic / Favorite Sandwich
« on: November 03, 2016, 08:05:44 am »Message ID: 1102920
I heard that today, 11/3, is Sandwich Day.  I don't know if it is or isn't, but what's your favorite sandwich?  I've been trying to pick one and honestly can't come up with a favorite.  I have many, among them leftover Thanksgiving turkey, next day pot roast, tuna/chicken salad made with my favorite ingredients, grilled cheese with lots of cheese and tomato and bacon/ham with a bowl of tomato soup.  Can you think of just one or two favorites?

Off-Topic / Cancer Screenings
« on: November 03, 2016, 08:00:55 am »Message ID: 1102915
Have you had a cancer screening lately?  Depending on your gender, age, and family history, you might be at risk for breast, prostate, or colon cancer.  Please make sure you have the appropriate screening for these demographics according to your doctor.  Two people that I know have died from cancer in the last 6 months.  One died from leukemia; the other from undiagnosed Stage 4 kidney cancer.  If something doesn't feel right, especially over a period of time, get it checked out.  Unusual fatigue or pain/discomfort needs to be brought to a doctor's attention.

Offers / Your Surveys
« on: November 03, 2016, 07:41:01 am »Message ID: 1102911
I'm noticing that when I don't initially qualify for a survey on Your Surveys, they mention I have earned an entry into a sweepstakes.  Anybody ever won this Sweepstakes?  Anybody know how often someone wins or what you win?

Support / Ripped off Again
« on: November 03, 2016, 07:35:24 am »Message ID: 1102909
I don't know what is going on with Fusion's server or their surveyors, but I am getting regularly ripped off by the surveys on here.  Over the past several months, I have either completed or nearly completed (entering the final demographics) only to have the survey suddenly disqualify me at the end or for the survey to not finish correctly and I am not credited. I have probably missed out on about $4-$5 in this manner. This is getting old and happening only regularly on here lately...not on the other site I use.
Fusion...you need to update your server or set standards for the survey companies you use.  I think you need to be more proactive regarding some of the issues that Fusion has.  Instead of being what I would rate as a "moderately good" site, you might end up being an "excellent" site.  Word gets around!

Debate & Discuss / N. Korea, Russia, or China
« on: November 02, 2016, 10:31:49 am »Message ID: 1102701
Who do you think is the most dangerous?  I think that both Korea and Russia have egotistical gangsters heading them while we need to be afraid of China because of their economic positioning.  I believe China has decided they will probably never confront the Western world militarily because they can economically. However, with N. Korea's madman and Russia's mobster heading these nations, we need to not overlook what they may be capable of.

An important FYI: October is National Domestic Violence month!  Joe Biden has spent much of his public career fighting for women's rights.  For example, he wrote and helped pass in Congress the Domestic Violence Awareness Act.  Yeah for him and others like him!!!!!!!

Off-Topic / Income Tax
« on: October 04, 2016, 05:02:22 am »Message ID: 1097024
Well, it's getting to the end of another year, closer to the Holiday season, and also closer to income tax time.  So...speaking about income tax, do you usually get a healthy amount back, pretty much break even, or end up owing much of the time?  Luckily, I usually get some back.  However, not much now that I am retired.

Off-Topic / Getting Even
« on: October 03, 2016, 11:38:58 am »Message ID: 1096804
Does anyone have a short story about how they got even or put down a mean or rude person?  Some people at a table in a restaurant I was at the other day were talking about this and several of them had some good stories (although I could not hear all the details).  Then I just read another one online at a site I often use.  I just thought a few of you on here might have a satisfying experience  you could recite.

Offers / EngageMe.TV videos
« on: October 02, 2016, 08:01:11 am »Message ID: 1096456
Have any of you received these on your video lists?  I did for the first time today.  At first I was curious and grateful for something new.  It stated you can watch multiple times per day and you get a penny.  Ok, let's go.  Well, you get that whole, great big penny after almost 18 minutes of watching ads and the actual video.  Wow, a whole penny for 18 minutes!

Come on, Fusion.  You can certainly do better than this!  I would rather be able to watch only 2-3 times each day and receive more money.  I get somewhat sensitized and offended when I am asked to spend this kind of time for so little.  The whole point is missed by the advertiser when these kind of offers are allowed to run without watching.  However, that is exactly what they are forcing.

Off-Topic / Decade With The Best Music?
« on: September 04, 2016, 07:00:53 pm »Message ID: 1090788
Do you think there is a decade that has the best music?  Myself, I have a difficult time between the 60's, 70's, and even the 80's.  I guess if I had to listen to only one, it might have to be the 70's.
