Debate & Discuss / Fall TV
« on: October 03, 2014, 01:15:41 pm »Message ID: 923688
What show have you been excited to come back in its new season or just a brand new show that you have seen previewed?

Among others, I am looking forward to Walking Dead, Reign, The Voice, Stalker, How To Get Away With Murder, and am still waiting on Game of Thrones and The Vikings.  Heck, I still kinda miss Dexter!!!!

FusionCash / 1/2 Cent for 40+ Minute Videos!!!
« on: October 01, 2014, 02:57:20 pm »Message ID: 923027
Does anyone really watch the videos that are as lengthy as some I've 20, 30, and even 40 minutes?  I have to draw the line some place, and this is it!!!!!!!!

Dear Fusion, for real?

FusionCash / Where are all the 1/2 cent videos?
« on: September 11, 2014, 05:33:32 am »Message ID: 916986
An inquiry...I haven't seen half-cent videos on my list in literally weeks.  Are others still receiving them?

Also, I like the new informational videos I have listed.  However, they sometimes take longer to get through and still credited at 1 cent.  Frankly, on a couple other sites, I have watched videos having similar length at as much as 3 cents.  Fusion, can't you at least move some of these lengthier, more involved videos to crediting at 1 1/2 cents?

Debate & Discuss / Do You Know Anyone Who Is An "Extreme" Hoarder?
« on: September 08, 2014, 03:08:39 pm »Message ID: 916215
I'm sure many of us have watched the TV show about people who have this problem, or mental illness, when it gets to the extremes that program shows.  However, I'd never seen it in person, but I just came from a friend's relative's home which is about the worst I've ever seen (and smelled).  At first, I was just a bit repulsed, but in retrospect, I feel very bad for the person.  Although not quite as bad as the TV show, no one should live this way.  It made me go home and straighten a few things and throw out some stuff I realized I surely don't need.

Do you know anyone who comes close to being an "extreme" or over-the-top hoarder?

Debate & Discuss / Employment After 60?
« on: September 06, 2014, 01:59:48 pm »Message ID: 915688
I am interested in your opinions on getting employment not only after 60, but even after 63 or 64 years old.

Let me say, first of all, I am appreciative of these online opportunities and I know that some people do not have other options...either temporarily or over the long-term...people with small children, disabled, in school, what have you.  However, after doing this for a little while, the amount of time it takes to make what I consider not that much money has led me to think about taking some of this time and applying for a part-time job.  My health condition is on the mend and I also miss some of the social interaction.  Interacting with a computer and surveys which lately have been asking me the same thing over and over, including over and over in the same day, is beginning to not meet my expectation of how I want to spend the next year.

SO...I have 14 years of recent, consistent work experience with good communication skills as well as able to show up consistently and punctually, able to get along with others easily, and learn things quickly.  But, do you think employers are willing to hire people of my age?  What kinds of work and employers do you think I should target?  I would really like a wide range of responses and will be checking back frequently for your ideas and support.  Let me know what you think.  I would so appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!

Payments / Cash Out Friday or Sunday
« on: August 29, 2014, 05:38:39 am »Message ID: 912989
The answer is probably here somewhere but I don't have time to find it.  Can I cash out on a Sunday if it is the last day of the month or does it need to be a business day, like Friday, using this month as an example?

FusionCash / A couple NASTY!!! videos
« on: August 28, 2014, 11:29:01 am »Message ID: 912819
Fusion:  I'm disappointed.  I would be among the first to say I want a variety of types of videos...subjects, payments, lengths, etc.  HOWEVER, over the past couple weeks, when a few new videos appeared on my list, there have been some with some language and subjects that are not appealing and far as I'm concerned.  If I wanted to look at and listen to constant profanity, and I do mean the f... word, I would listen toose type of channels and artists.
SO, PLEASE, I'm not a prude, but I don't want to see it and hear it on here, where I'm truly not expecting it or seeking it.  There has to be plenty of services, products, artists, etc. that are not as crude as I watched several times.  I actually turned the sound down and walked away till it was over.  Just don't need it in a format such as Fusion.

Debate & Discuss / Dental Implants
« on: August 12, 2014, 02:01:50 pm »Message ID: 908437
Well, what a procedure!  Of course, I am having more than 1 or 2 implants and also some bone grafting.  Has anyone on here had experience directly or indirectly with the result?
I am having some because, for me, dentures were a nightmare.  I think you don't realize how essential your teeth are until you lose them or have significant problems.  Communication, self-image, eating.  All things we have to do everyday.  Dental insurance is a joke.  It's like the importance of oral health and how essential it is to our function is not recognized.  I battled periodontal disease for 20+ years until told by a dentist it was an uphill battle because I was someone who makes the bacteria at a faster rate than normal for periodontal disease.  A builder!
I never realized until I have gone through it how many people have one problem or another with dentures.  Yes, I know a few who claim they are just fine.  Those are the lucky ones.
Please...take care of your teeth as best you can!  Don't take them for granted.  We don't think about them but they are SO essential.

Debate & Discuss / Life Can Be Tragic
« on: August 12, 2014, 11:04:36 am »Message ID: 908373
Been thinking a lot watching news events lately.  The death of Robin Williams by suicide, the death of young, 20 year old race car driver Kevin Ward (sort of a suicide by going on that track), the death of the 18 year old young man by the policeman in, I believe, Missouri, and then the more large scale devastation in Gaza...sometimes certain events just make you think about life in general...your own situation...and the tragedy in certain instances.

Sometimes I just feel a sadness for what happens to individuals, groups, the world in general.  I guess I have no particular point, just saying.......................

Suggestions / My Kind of Videos

Debate & Discuss / Black or Flavored
« on: August 12, 2014, 10:51:09 am »Message ID: 908369
I was wondering...among you coffee drinkers, do you drink it black or with one of the new flavored creamers?  I always thought I would never put anything in my coffee, and the first cup in the morning has to be "virgin coffee," but I have grown to like Peppermint Mocha and Sweet Cream.  What about you?

Debate & Discuss / Best Reality Talk Host
« on: August 11, 2014, 09:41:32 am »Message ID: 907996
Since I have lost my job due to a health condition, I have occasionally watched some of the daytime reality talk show hosts.  It has been a long time since I have done so, and I realize what a mess some people make of their lives.  The only thing I can say is they help me realize my life is not so bad and more normal than I realized.  Thank God!!!!!
I just have never been that much into drama, and luckily, not made as bad of decisions as some of these people make.  I have them on now just some of the time and more background noise as anything.  I feel like a voyeur after watching some of them.

However, I sometimes like Tricia Goddard and Steve Wilkos.  At times, they  offer worthwhile advice to their guests.  The situations don't seem so phony as some do.

Who do you like? Do you think the people are coached and being phony?  Is there a host that you like more than others?  Why?

FusionCash / Instructional Videos
« on: August 11, 2014, 08:05:32 am »Message ID: 907918
Hey Fusion:
Just wanted to say I liked the tutorial video about recovering a forgotten WiFi password.  Not saying I will remember the information, but I support having some simple instructional videos on different subjects.

I have said this before, but please try to change up the video subjects.  Vinny has been on forever it seems like.

Offers / Crowdflower Confusing
« on: August 11, 2014, 07:37:57 am »Message ID: 907903
Boy, some of you seem to do really well on the tasks in Crowdflower.  Yea-a-a-y for you!

I've done a few tasks but this is what I'm finding.  On the few I've completed sometimes the instructions appear simple at first and then you attempt the assignment and it becomes very confusing regarding what they really want.  It's like you are guessing or frantically searching if there is anymore to it or is it right in front of your face.  Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.

The time countdown doesn't help.  Sometimes I think I have the correct answer/info only to find it is incorrect.  I actually had to email Crowdflower one time telling them that the instructions turned out to be incomplete.  They agreed it may be the case and apologized, which I appreciated.  I think they credited me in several days.

Are some of you finding the same?  For those successful at this particular opportunity, is there a "trick" I'm not getting?  What do you think makes you successful?

Support / Don't Want to Burn Out
« on: August 11, 2014, 06:36:50 am »Message ID: 907877
Hi Everyone:
Even though I am fairly new to Fusion Cash, I really like this forum and I feel like although I haven't met you I have many acquaintances out there I'd like to know better.

Anyway, on to my concern.  I am on 3-4 marketing/survey sites which I consider my primary ones and a few others I consider secondary for now.  The primary ones are where I spend the most time and work hardest.  I just seem to be spending more and more time trying to make this little bit of money.  I probably am starting to average 4 hours most days, 6-7 days per week.

My question is:  How much time do you spend each day on average...and if you'd share (and it is your business)... What kind of money do you usually make for the time?  Now I admit, I don't use a lot of offers because I feel there is a definite down side to those.  I am just starting to burn out a bit but am so dependent on whatever extra income I can pull in in my present circumstances.  It is just so much less than I am used to making!!!!!
