Off-Topic / Do You Talk To Yourself?
« on: June 04, 2015, 06:25:27 am »Message ID: 987300
I have noticed that when there is something on my mind, I actually start a conversation sometimes where I try to work the issue out.  The other day I was outside doing some work and realized when my neighbor came out that I had been talking aloud about a problem.  You know, a little here, a little there.  It was a bit embarrassing, and then I thought, "Who really cares?"
And yes, I have answered myself.  Not crazy yet though, at least I don't think so.  Hum-m-m-m, I may have to have a small conversation aloud about that!!!!!

No, thanks.  I don't want to go on a self-imposed Naked and Afraid.  I definitely like food.  Also, without enough sleep and if I get hungry enough, I can get crabby!!!

Sometimes you just have to keep trying. I haven't qualified for 8 surveys in a day in a long time

FC Survey: Food Survey Jun 1st   $0.30   Approved
FC Survey: Entertainment Survey Jun 1st   $1.30   Approved

Lucky you!  Congrats!  However, sometimes it doesn't matter how many times you try, you are still DQ'd over and over.  Pickens' have been pretty slim for me over the past 2-3 weeks.  It makes it difficult to reach goal!  Also, you can't stay on these sites all the time.

This was a short survey and I did qualify to participate, but one of the questions that was asked told me to pick disagree to make sure that I was paying attention.

Yes, I had that question also and picked disagree.  I was STILL disqualified!

It does not matter what I think but what God thinks. But I do know that I am sick and tired of him, she/it being on face book and the news so much. I know there are more pressing things  going on in this world then him. While the news media are slobbering all over him we do not know what pres. Obama is pulling.

I  agree.  There are more important things...the economy, cancer research, ISIS, education, crime...many, many more.

Off-Topic / Bad Allergy Year
« on: June 03, 2015, 03:09:19 pm »Message ID: 987187
I live in Michigan.  This year, over the last week or so, I have been miserable with allergies whenever I am outside for long.  It seems like some years are not so bad while others are horrid.  How are you doing with seasonal allergies this year?

For the most part, I enjoy driving.  However, not in lots of traffic where everyone is exceeding the speed limit, not when it is icy here in Michigan, not at night when it is raining hard, as well as in unfamiliar places.

I haven't walked a mile in his shoes, so I don't know.  What about: "Judge not yet ye be judged..."  I feel it should be live and let live.  I particularly believe this when you are not hurting others.  Maybe at some point you just have to make yourself happy.  Obviously, just because it is wrong for you and you couldn't imagine doing it, it is very right for him (her). I think life is just about being good, kind, and doing unto others...

Offers / FC Panel Screener Survey
« on: June 03, 2015, 12:30:53 pm »Message ID: 987151
How do you get disqualified from a panel when all they asked are about 5-6 questions about whether I would agree to be honest, thoughtful, understand there may be multiple steps to be rewarded, etc.  THAT WAS IT!  Disqualified!  Nothing about me or my background.  Ridiculous!!

I sometimes have to wonder what is behind such disqualifications. It would be nice to have some transparency.

Walking is a great exercise.  I have a friend who watched his diet (not extremely) and walked 5 miles a day (6 days each week) for 3 months.  He has lost 29 pounds!!!  Pretty good, huh!  Also, not "race-walking", but just a moderate pace.

I support your point about the x rays.  That would have made me angry, too.

To Everyone Who Reads This:
However, please get any dental work completed that you need and make sure you take the best possible care you can of your teeth on a daily basis.  After years and years and money on top of money, it became evident that I was genetically predisposed to bad periodontal disease that was not going away even with treatment.  The last two years (almost) has been a journey of what it's like to lose all your teeth and realize you can't wear regular dentures.  In about 30 days, my journey will be over and I will have a full mouth of implants with new teeth on all.  I can hardly wait.  Until you know what it is like living your life without any teeth, there is no way to explain how essential they are.  Do yourself a favor and push the extra inch to care for your teeth like a fanatic if you are having any problems whatsoever.

I heard that family is VERY important to Mr. Biden and that it is one of his foremost values.  A loss of a second child, at so young an age, due to such a vile disease as brain cancer, is horribly sad.  In fact, sad is not a good enough word.  I am so, so sorry for the vice-president and the remainder of his family.  How heartbreaking!!!
And Beau, I also heard you were a very good guy who loved your family very much yourself.  I do hope you are in a great place as your life ended much too early.

With the way the world is going , my main concern is wanting to be safe.  I am doing nothing that someone can't overhear or read if they are protecting my safety, the ones I love, and my country in general.  Sometimes the rights of the individual must give way for the protection and rights of all of us.  This is one of those cases.

I post very little about myself or others close to me on social media.  Occasionally, perhaps several times over 2-3 years, I have given my opinion on a political/social situation.  That's all.  I want my life private and respect others enough to keep their lives private also.
