That is interesting because today that happened to me! The funny part was that I received several emails from them today. I even sent myself an email to make sure it was working! It's working fine, but they forced me to change my email, even if I didn't want to! The good thing was that I had a back up email, I also made sure that my preferences match because they didn't right after I changed it and I don't want any problems with my cash out.
