Alot of people who  have busy lives do this. it s is the because that is the only  time they get free or a day off sometimes. At least when I was growing up,if everyone worked,
One of us kids was tasked to trim   the tree, sometimes if we were working, it did not happen until the night before.
As for opening presents, we opened up one on xmas eve, and the rest on xmas day.

I was reading a post here from BigPar31   ...he said one thing but had to laugh,  I get paid alot better in other sites then here. Guess if this all you know..then you think this is the best thing going.  ROFL

I was approved for a personal care survey on 11/30 in which I had to promised not to disclose  info about their products. I take the survey,, and get paid, and then do my cash out for the month of November. Today..I am told that My payment is revoked..so no cash out and  I don't feel I am bound not to talk about their product...
their product is based on known home0pathic  and they  are charging a mere fortune for it...

Gee..not working in my field  of Human Nutrition and Food Science...I know about snake oil when i see it.   LOL

Did You know that Abe Lincoln wanted to send the slaves back to where they came from?

if the current prez can make $$ off the wetback, he is slow to send them back. After all, prez let all these people in so they could vote for him..in Florida, they are in all the Citrus  areas, driving down the pick fruit wages, because  it is so easy to get an illegal crew of wetbacks to come in and there are 2 rates, under and over the table here,..of course under the table for the wetback brings in more money..that is why lots of illegals drive fancy trucks and have rolls of bills. .check it out in any citrus town in polk county, fl.

I used to live next door to the underground rail way of illegals coming up from Mexico.. Don't live there anymore.

Local law enforcement just looked the other way..

Over 6 months ago, I was to get my first cashout in May, and it got lost in the Mail..Havent got it, Hope I am getting it soon..  as  it has been over 6 months .2nd payout: I got direct deposit, but getting a new  checking  account and now back to the checks.
God I hope they both come!
 Send Earnings  and the loan I took around that time from my 401k had no trouble making thru the mail. .only these checks.  Perhaps the post man steals. .they do in some counties.

A lot of Japanese kill themselves, guns  really are not the method there, but as as far as the guns, in the United States, we are a big country with a lot of wildlife, and crazy   people, but it is really the health care and the turning out of  crazies, that years ago would be kept locked up in an institution, instead of running around the streets as it is now.

There are homeless folks as well as unstable people running around, that years ago, would have been in treatment and way from the general public, to avoid harm to themselves and others. Not that way now.
I am Not saying everyone should be locked up that is mentally ill, only that we need better health care to serve those that need it.

Everyone in the united states has a right to bear arms, per the constitution. Do not place blame because a few  people do not know about guns or because they chose to use guns as a means to vent their anger.

I work security at a Big name company in florida. Let me tell you how the fire department and others can get into your car,. they stick a plastic a wedge between car and frame. then they brought out a a pump and and another wedge and inflated the wedge to pry open the doors..  leaves no trace..

get a car alarm that makes lots of noise, and calls the police, or put a camera in the car.. those are good deterents..

Here in the South , it is still Hot, I work grave shift, and at 11pm, it is still hot! and I am wearing short sleeves and long pants at work... and put the ac on for a bit until it cools to 60's
