Off-Topic / Has anyone here dated or married an identical twin?
« on: October 27, 2018, 02:26:35 pm »Message ID: 1244136
Just thought it would always be a bit odd to be in a relationship with an identical twin. Anyone who is/has been - was it weird? What was your relationship with the twin like?

Off-Topic / Dark, milk, or white chocolate?
« on: October 23, 2018, 10:15:28 am »Message ID: 1243692
Which do you prefer? Somehow I'm just not a big fan of white chocolate. Dark chocolate is my favorite, milk is too boring if it's just solid chocolate (it needs nuts etc. in it)

Off-Topic / Weird occurrences you never found an explanation for?
« on: October 10, 2018, 09:17:14 am »Message ID: 1242068
I love hearing stories of small unexplained things. Not like ghost stories, just everyday odd things that probably have a very mundane explanation but it bugs you that you may never know what it was.

Once I dropped a screwdriver and it was like it vanished from existence. Nowhere to be found. There were no gaps or anywhere nearby that I ever figured out it could be hiding. I didn't even drop it from more than a foot off the ground. It still bothers me.

Off-Topic / Are you offended when people get sick on your nationality's food?
« on: September 30, 2018, 12:20:34 pm »Message ID: 1240105
I won't eat Chinese food from any source because it's made me so ill so many times in the past that I'm not willing to gamble anymore. Even the smells bring back bad memories that make my stomach nervous. My family however loves it, so we still occasionally go to a Chinese restaurant together, where I don't order anything (I usually tell the waiter I have a food allergy because it would feel so rude to admit the truth). Some people tell me that's racist, I say you can call me whatever you want if I can avoid a full body evacuation.

If you were a chef/waiter/home cook, would you be offended if somebody came to your meal and respectfully admitted that your nationality's food makes them ill?

Off-Topic / Anyone else have to sleep with covers even if it's warm?
« on: September 24, 2018, 01:13:59 pm »Message ID: 1239062
I feel way too exposed to sleep with no covers, too bad since my bedroom is usually too warm. I need at least the sheet. I wish there was a blanket that would give you the weight of the covers but without the warmth.

Off-Topic / Does getting blood drawn make you faint?
« on: September 21, 2018, 09:57:24 am »Message ID: 1238605
Getting blood drawn always makes me woozy, but I had to get a few more vials than usual taken at the doctor's yesterday and I woke up halfway through with the nurse looking at me funny.  Blood draws always take really long with me for some reason, they have trouble finding my veins and it comes out slow. I'm well hydrated and fed, I look the other way, it barely hurts and I'm not afraid of it... but something about the idea of it just makes my brain go "Nope, bye"

Do you faint from blood and needles?

Off-Topic / Do you drink enough water?
« on: September 21, 2018, 09:48:30 am »Message ID: 1238604
How much water do you drink every day? I've been making sure to drink extra for the past few months, and I think I'm having fewer random headaches these days. Maybe I was dehydrated.

Off-Topic / Do you like scented candles and air fresheners
« on: August 29, 2018, 09:27:56 am »Message ID: 1234742
Boy there are some scents I really love but also some that give me a headache, and I can't always tell which right away. I find some candles are good or benign but air fresheners, especially those oil ones you plug in, instantly make me feel ill.  Anyone else have that problem?

Off-Topic / Pests in the garden
« on: August 29, 2018, 09:21:17 am »Message ID: 1234740
It's the time my vines should be pumping out pumpkins, but I have some critter visiting my yard every night nibbling off the young fruits and flowers.  >:( What kind of pests do you have in your garden and how do you get rid of them?

Off-Topic / do you ever buy the wrong gender version of your product?
« on: August 21, 2018, 09:47:34 am »Message ID: 1233708
I (female) buy the guy version of things like lotions, razors, etc if it's a better deal. Or sometimes the price is the same but I just like the guy packaging or scents better. I figure the actual product is the same so I don't care.

I bet women are more willing to buy male branded products than men are to buy female branded products. Do you?

Offers / Video lab not paying
« on: July 02, 2018, 11:51:55 am »Message ID: 1225084
Clicked and waited through 17 pages of content and the final pageload says something about an error. So I jumped through all the hoops for no credit. Did the same thing to me yesterday. How convenient that it works long enough to show you all the ads but then breaks at the last second so they don't have to pay you your 1 lousy penny. Last time I waste my time on that offer.

Off-Topic / Are you a chatter?
« on: June 29, 2018, 11:15:01 pm »Message ID: 1224400
Do you chat up strangers in public?

Or are you like me, where you'll go out of your way at the store to steer clear of someone who looks like they're going to be a talker?  :P

Off-Topic / have you seen a tornado?
« on: May 29, 2018, 10:51:39 am »Message ID: 1218141
I like watching storm chaser videos on youtube. I always think it would be so amazing to see a tornado in person, if only you could watch from a safe enough spot. Have you seen one in person and how close?

Off-Topic / autumn stuff already
« on: May 29, 2018, 10:46:37 am »Message ID: 1218137
I see some of the craft stores are starting to put out their autumn stuff already. Now I LOVE autumn and halloween is the highlight of my year but this is simply too soon even for me. Eventually will they sell it SO early that it's actually on the shelves during autumn again?

Anyone else having trouble? This has been a very reliable daily credit for me for a long time, but past few weeks or so I haven't been receiving credit.
