Those are all good, I actually like salt & vinegar flavor once in a while. It's pleasant in an unpleasant way :P

I'd rather buy stuff in person so I don't have to pay shipping, but you can't beat the online selection. In fact most stores aren't bothering to compete anyway.

I like pistachios, and I actually like that you have to shell them. Having to work for each one prevents me from mindlessly eating handful after handful.

Oh, that's too bad! I think I only ever saw him in Titanic. He was pretty young wasn't he. :(

Off-Topic / Vegetable gardeners, what will you plant?
« on: February 27, 2017, 09:30:57 am »Message ID: 1125641
I like to grow squash every spring because it's so easy, and I'm digging some new garden beds to make more room for a pumpkin patch this summer. I'm also going to try to grow a few stalks of corn just because I like how they look dried and tied in bundles at harvest time. Finally I wasn't planning on garlic but some scraps volunteered in my compost heap so I moved them to a bucket.

What veggies will you be planting this spring/summer?

Yes I'm thanking God for a week of beautiful weather it seemed like spring came early! Now rain is rolling in, but I love that too.

I'm a big procrastinator, but I try not to wait until the absolute last day. Early April is usually when I end up getting around to it.

Regular salsa, or mango salsa is pretty good as well, I just hate when there's a lot of cilantro because it tastes like soap to me. Hard to top a good queso dip though.

I often have trouble sleeping too. If you can buy some melatonin tablets, that helps me a lot. (Tablets are better than capsules because I often just break off a tiny piece because I don't need a whole dose, so sleep is a little easier but I'm not a zombie the next day.)

Disneyland is my favorite place! There's lots of good stuff, but my must-see attractions are Pirates of the Caribbean,  the Haunted Mansion, and Indiana Jones in that order.

I very rarely go on there anymore. Years back it used to be a nice way to keep in touch with friends, but now it's mainly companies, ads, game app spam, and the occasional elderly relative.

I love homemade ones, commercially bought ones are always sickly or lackluster for the calories. Icing is overkill, IMO if the bun / cinnamon roll is doing its job you don't need to drown it in more sugar

There do seem to be fewer opportunities than there were a while back. Maybe since the economy is not great more people are trying out sites like this and resources are just spread thin.
