I can only get the surveys to credit if I use IE.  I use FF for everything else but offers and surveys.

I did it many months ago and never received credit.  I know some people did get credit after several weeks though.

I have a Sheltie named Lady.  She's a great, but nervous, dog who loves to herd anything she can.

I love all animals, but I cats are probably at the bottom of my list.  My boyfriend has two of them and one is terrible, always crapping on the floor.  The other one is a sweetheart.  I just get so sick of the mess they make with their litter.

oh no not more of that stupid dude why couldn't they have picked someone else to play spiderman :BangHead: :crybaby2:

I've wondered the same thing.  Terrible casting.  I also don't like the overuse of CG.  It makes me miss the days of the old Superman movie where his flying was so fake it was funny.

It is not the government's job to create jobs.  Sure, they can pay someone to dig a hole and another person to fill it.  Real productive.  They need to get their hands out of things.  Government is the problem, not the solution.

Actually the federal government is legally responsible for maintaining a reasonable level of unemployment through fiscal policy.  Legislation was passed quite some time ago (the name of the bill evades me at the moment) requiring the federal government to do so, so yes, it is their job to a certain degree.

The federal reserve is in charge of fiscal policy, not the government.  Of course, the people who work for the fed are appointed by the president.  Therefore, their jobs depend on the president keeping his.  I know of no bill or legislation that was passed requiring government to maintain a reasonable level of unemployment.  If there is one, I would like to know where to find it.  The only employment the government needs to legally worry about is the employment of their own government employees.

I've never gotten a flu shot and I haven't had the actual flu since I was about 8 years old (26 yrs ago).  My plan is to be as healthy as possible so that if I am exposed to anything, I can fight it off.  I feel that my system would be better off fighting an illness/virus by itself.

I keep my house 63 during the day and 60 at night.  If I'm going to be gone for a while, I may put it down to 55.  I suppose I should also mention that I live in Minnesota  :)

Off-Topic / Re: ...townhouse or single family home????
« on: December 05, 2009, 05:52:34 am »Message ID: 115979
The thing I noticed when I lived in a townhouse was that the neighbors never spoke to each other.  It was like we were just way too close to each other and needed our space.  When I moved into a single family home with a big yard, I had neighbors coming up and talking to me all the time.  I would find it difficult to move to a smaller home again.  I like my space.

I make cheesecake for my son for his birthday.  He has celiac disease and cannot have wheat.  I think gluten free/wheat free cakes are terrible and he agrees.  I just make a simple cheesecake with fruit topping.

I would like to keep my house a bit more uncluttered, but it's tough.  I'm just not home enough.
