Support / VoteIt

I just spent 20 minutes taking a survey.  I was going through the final classification questions, clicked a Next button like normal, and got redirected to some site called VoteIt asking why I take surveys.  I either have to sign up for an account with them or sign in with Facebook.  I don't want to do either of those, and I wasn't redirected to the final survey completion page.

Bah!  Not happy at all  >:(

Support / SSI survey- not crediting
« on: December 29, 2011, 06:46:42 am »Message ID: 466739
Is anyone else not getting credited for the SSI daily survey?  I completed one earlier this week and another earlier today and haven't been credited.  I always clear my cookies and leave the completion page up.  Other surveys still credit, and I've never had a problem with SSI before.

Offers / Samplicious Daily Survey

Does anyone else have any luck with this one?  I've only been able to complete a survey once since it appeared, every other time I don't qualify.  I don't know if it's short on surveys or what, but man, this thing is tougher to qualify for than My Thought Counts!

So the Senate is once again voting to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_ask,_don%27t_tell

What are you opinions?  Senator Ron Wyden sums up my thoughts nicely:
Quote
I don't care who you love, if you love this country enough to risk your life for it. You shouldn't have to hide who you are. You ought to be able to serve.

Anyone seen it yet?  Went last night and I was pleasantly surprised.  It didn't terrify me like the original (and I mean the non-theatrical release, without the hokey Steven Spielberg ending,) and it uses a lot of the same tricks, but it had some good scares and an interesting twist.

The lady in front of me kept saying "Give me the keys, I'm waiting in the car!"

Any Dethklok fans here?  I saw them Tuesday with Mastodon and they were great- tighter than Mastodon was even.

If you're a fan of Metalocalypse, that counts too.

Just curious, did anyone ever watch a show called "Nowhere Man" back on the UPN network during 1995-96?  It was only on for one season, but was a terrific show- kind of a mix of "The Prisoner" and "The Fugitive."  I've been rewatching it lately and it's even better than I remember.

Coincidentally, the guy who played the lead character in the show just played Captain/Admiral Pike in the new Trek flick.

Support / Amp Surveys = Survey Scout?

I just went to take the Amp Survey, but the link is directing to a site called "Survey Scout."  Is something broke?  Is that now the correct site?  Anyone else notice this problem?

Off-Topic / Random Rant Thread

Use this thread to post your rants about random annoyances, petty or otherwise.  It won't solve anything, but venting's fun.  Here's mine:

This Saturday, I'm supposed to be going to a place I camp at frequently in the summer for their annual Winter Gathering.  There're bonfires, chili and soups, broomball on the frozen lake, and general good times.  I looked at the forecast today, and saw that it's supposed to rain on Satuday now.  Rain.  In February.  On the one day I want to be outside.  Whenever I go to this place, it always rains at least one day.  Why?  Why??  Why???  :BangHead:

Support / OK to use multiple PCs?
« on: November 26, 2007, 05:37:48 pm »Message ID: 11610
Newbie here- searched to see if this had been posted but didn't see anything.  Apologies if this is general knowledge.

Can you use multiple computers when completing offers?  For instance, I've got my computer at work, a desktop at home, and a laptop at home.  Can I use all three at various points throughout the day, or should I stick to only using one?  I know some other sites will ban you if you show up using more than one IP address and I'd prefer that not to happen to me here.

Thanks!
