No-Bake Apple Pie
« on: December 02, 2009, 07:23:08 pm »
my coworker told me about this one:
No-Bake Apple Pie

2 (12-ounce) packages STOUFFER'SŪ Harvest Apples, prepared according to package directions, chilled
1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1 cup frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
BEAT sugar, cream cheese and butter in a medium mixer bowl until smooth. Spread over crust.
COMBINE escalloped apples, whipped topping and cinnamon in a medium bowl; spoon over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
Makes 8 servings.

That sounds good even though I'm not that fond of apple pie.  I wonder if I can substitute it with cherry.  I prefer cherry pie a lot more.

My Mom used to make something like this. It's great with Cherry and Blueberry too.

That sounds good and I might share I make no bake cheesecake with similar materials. I use gramcraker for my crust and I mix one pk. of creamcheese , 1/2 cup of sugar,  1 small bowl of whip cream and you can choose your topping. You can have apple filling, cherry, blueberry or blackberry.  I freeze it over night and let thaw.  Tastes great! yum yum!!
