Banning Guns
« on: December 04, 2009, 05:53:55 pm »
Everyone Knows that guns kill Thousands of lives each and everyday ..but at the same time they also protect lifes also sometimes resulting in the death of another person to save that ones lives...i honestly hate guns because i grew up around guns in my neighboorhood my whole childhood and ive seen how it can destroy the lives of close friends and and ect..  so the quistion is should guns be banned or should they keep them i honestly think they should be banned because of how many deaths they caused especially towerds babies and stuff i know people say that guns dont kill people people kill people ..but the fact of the matter is ..someone died..but thats just my opinion and if the do ban them i think there should be another alternative to protection and safty somthing safer and more reliable but because of the second ammendment its kind of hard...what do you think

Switzerland has one of the highest gun ownership rates in the world (3rd in the world behind the US and Yemen).  In many cases, households are required to have a firearm in the home.

They have some of the lowest, if not the lowest, firearm crime rates in the world.

Something tells me guns aren't the issue.

Well, my dad was a cop and he always had a gun in the house so I never really thought anything about it. But a few months ago (I can't remember exactly what he was doing) but it accidentally fired, went through his closet, the hallway wall, through my door and into my closet. That experience reminded me how dangerous they can be.

Do guns kill.......or do people kill?....sometimes with guns.

Sometimes with knives, sticks, rocks, pipes, bottles, vehicles, poison, bombs, their hands,.............
damn, lets just bann everything that could possibly used as a weapon......then people will stop being violent.

Yeah right.

Why not begin with stopping trying to find some where else(any where else) to place the blame, besides where it belongs.

A gun, much like your PC can and will only do what you make it do. Guns can't reason, plan or think and therefor can not kill unless someone makes them.

I guess you would have me accept that those *bleep* sites just mysteriously pop up on your computer all on their own, huh?
