Number on line

I notice that at the bottom of the discussion boards, it tells you how many are on line.  And how many have been on line that day.  The number was around 38.  Does that mean 38 people have visited the Discussion Boards or does that mean 38 have visited the entire website of Fusion Cash.  And I noticed that the most on line was around 800 and something April 2008.  Why has there been such a drop in the number?  It should be going up or at least holding steady.  And why is it so low?

It only includes people who use the forums, not everyone on FC.

The spike you see in April 2008 was from a DDoS attack on the site - there weren't actually 800 people using the forum.
